Great video, very helpful and detailed. One advice for future works, those connector from tail light, etc. , you don't need to use a screwdriver and lift the clip. Is designed as a lever so if you push the back end of it you can disconnect it pretty easy.

Crf300l. I did have a Z900 2020 model was a great bike too but i took advantage of the price hikes and no inventory so i sold it after one year

I just received these but was expecting them to be aluminum, but they're plastic. I went back and checked what the product description is and it does say they're aluminum. A bit of false advertising because only the end plate is aluminum which doesn't actually serve any protective purpose.

at 8:10, its impossible to get this screw in with the grummet. without grummet, no problem. my installation guide says it should be used, but it was also only shipped with 1 grummet, which is used on the other side. so i assume, this is just not used anymore.

Just bought my first sport type bike coming from cruisers bought an 2023 mt09 for $8900. Only 7 miles. Definitely different but worth the price for all the features imo. Only downside for me is if something goes wrong there is so much electronics, that u would need to take it in to get serviced. Where as the mt07 u can wrench on it yourself

Where can I buy the 32 mm deep socket for the rear axle nut? I’ve looked in different local stores but haven’t been able to find it
@FullThrottleFreedomChannel7 ай бұрын
I live in Canada, and I picked mine up at Canadian Tire in the specialty automotive tools section. For Canada: Princess Auto, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, any auto parts store (NAPA, Partsource, Auto Value, etc.) are all good options. For USA: Harbor Freight (they get a bad rap, but their stuff is fine), Home Depot, any local tool store, any parts store (O’Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto Parts, etc.). If no stores have it and they can’t order it for you (I would be very surprised) you can always resort to Amazon. Amazon has everything.

Do these ever touch ground? I have frame sliders and I am wondering if it is worth the money for axle sliders as they do not seem to touch the floor, at least at low speed crashes
@FullThrottleFreedomChannel9 ай бұрын
It depends how you crash. These are intended to protect the swingarm and other important parts around the axle. The axle sliders wont touch the ground unless your footpegs snap off and your bike lands on its side.

Here are the mods on my icon blue '23 model: 1)Puig dark smoke sport and touring screen,i mostly use the sport 2)Evotech crash bobbins,spindle bobbins (both front and rear) and radiator screen 3)Pyramid fender and hugger extension (glued them with epoxy) and shock shield. 4)swing arm spools to help with maintenance and cleaning. I plan for a custom work on the seat as i find the stock a bit hard.
@oliverhanisch196611 ай бұрын
One thing I would like to add for chain tension is to first find any tight spots. I know it's a new chain, but the older the chain, the more likely it is to have tight spots and you would want to check the slack at the tightest spot.

@thasherm Жыл бұрын
Does chain slack measurement differ when on paddock stand vs on floor sitting vertically (not on kickstand obviously)?
@FullThrottleFreedomChannel Жыл бұрын
No, because either way, you’re loading the swingarm with the same amount of weight. Instead of the point of contact being at the tire, it moves to the end of the swingarm. The swingarm will still flex and tension the chain approximately the same amount. Some people may disagree, but the science says otherwise. If you’re still unsure, set the chain slack on a stand and re-check it while the tire is on the ground.
@Sunrazor Жыл бұрын
Can't you just remove the arm from the original fender and install it without? It looks like it comes apart so it may work.

I don’t see why you couldn’t. The thought never crossed my mind.

How do you like the windscreen, I'm picking up a 23 MT-09 and was curious on your thoughts?
@FullThrottleFreedomChannel Жыл бұрын
It’s a great windscreen for the cost and I like that it’s Yamaha genuine, so it matches the bike! I didn’t like the look at first, but it grew on me. If you’re looking for aesthetics, another great option is the Puig New Generation Sport screen in Dark Smoke.
