We Capetonians love the promoting of CT but if you really want to see & experience CT vibes you got to get a trusted Capetonian to show you around. If you thought Biscuit Mill's food was cheap lol then you would spend half of that money at others places with same quality. Most locals can't afford or hang out at those but we agree that it's cool place to enjoy yourself but broaden your experience on your next trip. Great video though 👍

Peru is one of the MOST racist places on Earth. I lived there for years in Miraflores (Malecon Cisneros), one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Lima where every building has a doorman. Before arriving I had no idea that Peruvians were so racist. In Miraflores, San Isidro, and La Molina you won't see a single black person working at a high-end hotel, store, or restaurant. You won't see doctors, police officers, judges, architects, university professors, not even food market clerks ... who are black. Why? They simply won't be hired. Another thing is that Peruvians are rarely if ever taught manners. I grew up in New York where I rarely encountered anyone who did not say, "thank you", for holding a door open or stepping aside, or any little thing. Peruvians are never taught such things as children, so it is a part of the culture to be ill-mannered. Peruvians also don't care about laws or municipal rules/policies/regulations. Cars won't stop for pedestrians crossing streets, even though there's a GIANT "pare" (Stop) written on the pavement. They get upset if you point this out to them and make them stop. They have their dogs-off-the-leash when there are GIANT signs in the parks that state that dogs must be on the leash and the fine that incurs when that rule is not followed. You ask the Serenazgo (city watch) to step in and say something and sometimes they'll do it (when you start filming them) and other times they'll say that they can't say anything to people with money. Peruvians are also the GRIMIEST people I have ever met. They will sell their mother if they can get some money out of it. I have personally witnessed taxi drivers charge tourists $20 to take them 7 blocks (when that amount will get you an hours' drive in any direction). I have honestly met a better class of people in the worst neighborhoods in New York. I lived in a building where the garage held two Lamborghini's, a McClaren, and various Porche's, Benz's, and Beemer's. And you could not pay me a million dollars to go back to living in that fucked up country with it's retarded population. But the food IS good.
