Yes , dress like Americans and like baseball, but no road rage, low crime rates, few homeless, not a lot of drugs around , very cohesive families and many don’t speak English. If they totally took on the American way they would be in deep shit ! I spend months at a time living in a totally Dominican area with my Dominican girlfriend who is much younger than me. Never had any problems, don’t wish too much of the American culture on these nice people

There’s a lot of pretty women in the Dominican Republic. But unfortunately the mind set of the Domican people are not proper for a Black man who’s looking for love. The people are extremely ethnocentric, tribal, and they have all this puffed up nationalism. It’s a good place to look for love only if you’re Dominican or white. The Dominicans have a special place for white people.
