Re bowel solution. If bowels are well formed just use your finger(s) to empry preemptively. If you feel them youve reached them. Use fingers to push out. After littlevpractice second nature. Wish I could do same to help my awful bladder problem. I have seen 5 urologists in last 35vyears had urodynam 4x. Tried all the meds. Any ideas? Pullups 24/7 no medicaid. Very costly. Ty😅

Will self catherization lead to frequent UTIs? Also, if one urinates often and in small amounts due to MS I don't see how self catherization will help. One won't be able to wait...urge to urinate will be very strong even with little urine in the bladder.

I have a lot of respect for the time and energy it takes to become a doctor but something in the system is wrong when they tell patients there is no hope. I was in a horrible accident where my arm got almost fully cut off and suffered from severe nerve damage. My doctors told me I’d never be able to use it again. 3 years later it’s fully functional again. Our minds are way stronger then we think.
