Re bowel solution. If bowels are well formed just use your finger(s) to empry preemptively. If you feel them youve reached them. Use fingers to push out. After littlevpractice second nature. Wish I could do same to help my awful bladder problem. I have seen 5 urologists in last 35vyears had urodynam 4x. Tried all the meds. Any ideas? Pullups 24/7 no medicaid. Very costly. Ty😅

Will self catherization lead to frequent UTIs? Also, if one urinates often and in small amounts due to MS I don't see how self catherization will help. One won't be able to wait...urge to urinate will be very strong even with little urine in the bladder.

I think it helps in a way of being able to empty the whole bladder. with MS the problem is that often you feel the urge but there is remaining urine in the bladder. if you can fully empty it (through a catheter), you won't feel the urge that often because the signal (to urinate) will appear less frequently.

Last time I had to have a catheter for 2 weeks I would still get urges to pee. It was strange and scary. Pee would get pushed out with force around the outside of the catheter... Why even have the catheter? @@nutribodymilk

Those were my exact thoughts. I know I am fully emptied, but have the urgency. Very frustrating!

I have been told that I might have MS as well. I have several MS symptoms . Hopefully my test results will be negative

I have solution for some bowel problems. !!! Unfortunately NOT for bladder. I suffer for many years with that. More later

Incontinence of the # 2 is the issue, wish I could find a NON ALUMINUM LOPERIMIDE,Former Nurse & don’t trust high level of aluminum in my body!
