It's actually just a café on Rue Montorgueil! You can find it at many cafés and traditional French restaurants. I'll admit, that one was not the best quality! Just like with any food, there is often a range in quality.

For me, maybe brioche over pain au chocolate. And everyone loves the falafel (you know where). Great vlog! Merci beaucoup!
@frenchjulietravels4 жыл бұрын
Yes I thought about adding falafel! It was hard to narrow down to 10, but I do always tell my friends to go get falafel on Rue des Rosiers! And you can't beat a good brioche. I also love chouquettes and wish I would have added that!

Maybe I am an Idiot, but It seemed to me, (or maybe I didn't notice, or it was too subtle) you didn't mention or show the names of the place that you went. leaving me to go seek out other videos. Some of this seemed obvious as far as "what you need to try", I feel I just needed to know the "from where"...
@frenchjulietravels4 жыл бұрын
You're right, I didn't add "where" on this one since some things (like escargots) can be eaten in many places and don't require one certain place to go - but I do talk about where to go for many of these things on my blog, Paris Food Affair! :) (www.parisfoodaffair.com)
@kristyh11115 жыл бұрын
What restaurant was that for the escargot? I don’t see the name anywhere. Thanks

To each their own! Spanish food is great, too. Hard to compare completely different cultures since they each have their own specialties, but by all means, stay away from croissants if you don't like them. Just a beginner's guide for some ideas.

Yeah cheese is really "cheap in paris .... sure.... Srsly this video made me puck as a real french.
@frenchjulietravels5 жыл бұрын
Hi again, compared to the U.S., it is very cheap. You will pay 2-3 times in the U.S. for French cheese, and it's not anywhere near as good. But "cheap" is subjective. For many people who are traveling to Paris, they will find it to be cheaper than what they can get at home. Sorry about making you puke. Good thing you can stop watching at any time and feel better.
@fearnol88736 жыл бұрын
I stopped at "pain au chocolat" , paris is not France say chocolatine and you ll know a little more about what real france is.
@frenchjulietravels5 жыл бұрын
Hi Romain, the video is not for French people, but for non-French people traveling to Paris for the first time who are not familiar with French food. You can't find a good croissant or pain au chocolat in the U.S. unless you are in New York City or San Francisco. And I agree that Paris does not represent all of France in the same way that NYC is not all of America. Each region in France has its own specialty worth seeking after which is why I love France so much.

Thanks!! How refreshing to get a nice comment like this! Especially after fielding comments about how ugly I am, stupid I am, how gross French food is, how much I look like the grinch. Geez. Sorry for making this video for free and for fun. So thanks for being one of the positive people. I will always love Paris, though! That's for sure. :)

What about soul food restaurants? I just need 1...or maybe 2 to try out
@frenchjulietravels6 жыл бұрын
Hello! Can you tell me what you mean by soul food in Paris? Normally I would equate that with the soul food originating in the southern/southeastern U.S. Are you looking for American soul food in Paris, or let me know what you mean, and I'll see if I can recommend something!
