Hi! I know I'm late to this video, but I just bought one of these mixers used! I primarily mix analog vinyl. My understanding was this unit had onboard effects which worked on analog vinyl without a laptop. However, on my unit, whenever I engage the effects (select effect, select flexFX for desired channel, select ON) all sound cuts out. Is this because I need a laptop with Serato connected or do I have a defective unit? Any advice is much appreciated! Thx!

THANK YOU! Pro tip if you install and it dosent pop up try resetting your computer. It should pop up now on reboot.

Just managed to get this working for PC. The documentation was inconsistent with the video so if you're wondering what your config file should look like, here's an example: mode=gui music.library.filesystem=C:/Users/Joe/Music/MyFolder music.library.itch=C:/Users/Joe/Music/_Serato_ Somebody get this guy a beer!!

ik the vid is old but why djs talk about mixers like we don't have eyes or a clue how a mixer work. i'm pretty sure whoever watchin this vid are djs, no shade. aka Blaze

idk if anyone its going to see this, but im on serato 3.0.1 and i just cant turn on the fx on the deck, doesn't matter what i check it just doesn't work. i have to install another version? if somebody had the same problem and could fix it pls let me know

No lie, i'm still using this today! On a Macbook Pro 2018 running Monterey. I don't know how im going to do it when it stops working but up till now no worries. On my last change of laptop it took some time because of the switch to Serato DJ but i managed to get it working. Bless whoever was responsible for this and if you bring an updated (paying) version i'm sure i would buy it. A must have if you're someone who keeps a tight folder structure and wants to copy it to crates!

Man I found this out the HARD WAY last night at my FIRST Serato/controller based gig. I was having a nervous breakdown. God must've bailed me out AGAIN, cause after a google search article mentioned "sampling rate" affecting speed, I changed the output config on my laptop and it finally worked. Stupid shit like that is why I'll never fully abandon my mixer and turntables.

Hey man I use djm 750. I connected the usb with mixer and MacBook. Set the utility app etc. But when I record sets from audio city the sound is TERRIBLE. How can I fix this?
