I’ve got the 750mk2 2x technics 1210 and 2x pioneer cdjs and run the usb cable from my mixer to my pc I use sound forge to record worked a treat, I set everything to rec out on the pioneer sound card

Hi!Thank you very much for explaining about how to record. I still do have some questions, I think I have a difficulty in channel choosing parts and choose which channel to REC OUT. Could you explain about it a little more. If I play 1. and . decks, I choose 1. and 2. channel but then which channel to REC OUT? Also after the ddj setting utility, and made the usb connection, Can I just press the record button in my recordbox dj software and record? Thank you, looking forward for your answers...

I'm assuming this does NOT work with the crossfader. Just the up/down channel faders...............

Okay so I was literally seconds from chucking my DJM850 in the car and returning it to the shop as faulty. I had the setting utility to set USB 3/4 to record. I thought that since this was labelled on the mixer over channel 2 it takes up that channel. I now realise this is not the case. When I set it this way and my decks connected to channel 1 and 4, it only recorded channel 1 and nothing from channel 4. I also had channel 2 switched over to USB3/4. I found this video again and set it up like you have it. Channel 1 is my deck 1 channel 4 is my number 2 deck. The ch1 and ch4 are set to CD Line since they are both CDJs. USB connected to Windows 8.1 laptop, setting utility as you have set it, USB1/2 Rec Out. Works perfect. So obviously I misunderstood about the channels and usb but is there a proper definite instructions or manual on how this all works?

I wanted to record a set so i tried this before checking out foucrite solo. After watching vid i figured out how to connect mixer to laptop. NExt question as a few already asked, HOW DO YOU FIX THE SOUND LEVEL? Sound is bad when i check the "test" recording. I adjust the soundlevel out from mixer how? i use usb chan3. I cant hear the sound while recording on audacity on the laptop. usb output level is -5db

i have the djm 750 and the xdj 1000 pionner decks. I have downloaded the latest driver for mac 1.2. I have installed the latest driver and have the volume fader lines channel 1 and 4 cd line. for the output i have put channel 1 record out. I cannot find djm 750 when i go into preferences in audacity. what am i doing wrong? many thanks

Hey Konix ...... I tried using this method on the SRT to do a live broadcast. The mix output was read, but the broadcast also played the control tone from the Serato records on top of the music. Holy crap. Sounded horrible. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, does these settings also apply when using a ddjsz controller ? I use my djm900 with the club kit from serato dj and just chose the djm900 from where the sound comes from but dont know if this applies to the ddjsz as well? Thanks for any response.

Hey man I have a question.. I've been trying to do this with my DJM 900 NXS2.. and I can set the input on my computer to my mixer.. but for some reason when I try to go into logic or audacity my input doesn't get signal.. would u happen to kno why?

what if u don't use any programs/seratro/ ect, I run 4 channels on channel 1/4 tables/ n 2/3 cds/ but use the 850 do u have 2 connect a plug from ur mixer 2 ur headphone jack/or mic jack. and do u still run the flash drive from the 850 2 ur pc

Doris Merlin Yeah, I hooked up the wrong cable. I thought you had to connect the usb cable from Send/return to the MacBook, but you have to connect the USB cable behind the mixer (it's a USB B connector) to the MacBook and then configure it with the utility from Pioneer. You need to use the usb cable that came with the mixer.
