Did you ever cut the SLC to see if it fits with the optics? These are going around 100 bucks on ebay now, kinda an expensive gamble to try and find out

I did…it did not work, the slc hood couldn’t clear the optic when down

Oh no! That was my only hope as this is the only OWB safariland with strap option for M9a4. I'm getting the D_lah low mount plate to put my optic on, which allows it to sit a few hair lower than berettas own plate. Do you have any suggestions for a similar alternative holster with optics and SF X300 light?

This is just me, but I prefer to carry my 92FS with a trigger guard holster. Incognito Concealment was one of the few companies I could find that make one for the Beretta 92-series.

Have both in 9 mm ,the full size got it about 4 months ago ., the compact about a year ago . I was looking for a usp compact since before the pandemic , I could not find one , the bug bit . Patience was rewarded .

So the first shots of the day with the G43 suck? That means that all your shots in a self-defense situation will suck, since most are over in 15 sec. Not for EDC, and even time on the range is a negative because you could have spent that time training on a good EDC gun. I'd have a problem giving/selling this gun to anyone I care about, based in your results...

I qualified on the HR 218 course using my new generation 5 GLOCK 26. I was amazed at the tight groups I shot.

I would say the USP/C is more like a land cruiser or a lexus. Its expensive but totally utilitarian. G wagon might be a staccato or adjacent 2011s lol

You will love the full size USP9. Shoots so damn well, but a bit big for most for edc. I do edc a full size usp9 quite a bit. Black rhino concealment makes a holster specific for usp full size/ compact and they make them for a gg&g and any light of your choice.

Just seeing this video. I have both a g26 and a 43x. The 26 has just been collecting dust bc I wanted to practice with the 43. The 43x is very finicky imo. Doesn’t like shooting cheap ammo lol. Out of 100 shot, I’ll have around 13 malfunctions. That being said, the 43x is about to get swapped back to the g26.

That 15 round flush fit magazine is the RamLine part # MAW 9215. I purchased 2 a couple of decades ago and they still work flawlessly. The 6906 was my first gun, still have it (and carry it) after 30 years. Put thousands of rounds thru it, and it's still as reliable as the first day. Wish they brought them back, even as a limited series, would be worth every penny.

I see you’re pulling left a lot with the 43x due to the slim frame and you clinching your grip right as you break your shot. I have a shield plus and was pulling low left for a long time.

Have you cut the safariland for the optic yet? Jw if the sls needed to be modified to clear it. Saw somewhere a guy had to drill new holes.

I did try and it turned out horribly…mainly due to the leather interior. Definately needs modification to clear optic as well

Hidden hybrid holsters. Tell em what kind of attachments you have and they custom make em. Also has adjustable retention and a claw to cant the handle towards your body for 0-minimal print

My take is this - Does a brace ban hold you back? Not very much. Is it constitutional? Hell no. I don't think you should get confused on this issue - the ban not causing much issue does not justify it's existence at all. Unconstitutional is unconstitutional. As such, I believe the brace ban should be opposed no matter it's effect on the use of the firearm. It is a definition slide or twist meant to limit freedoms, not done for any noble or protective goal, contrary to it's backers statements.

Do you find that the full size Px4 offers more recoil control over the compact or should I go with the compact for edc ? I heard the full size doesn’t have np3 internals while the compact does, is that true ?

So the compact is smooth shooting as well but it’s chunky; as such I don’t thing moving to a full size takes that much away from you concealment wise but offers a bit more comfort when shooting, bigger magazines longer sight radius etc. not sure about which has np3. It does seem like LTT is shrinking his offerings on the px4 as he offers more on hk products

I love my 92X RDO i don't have an optic on mine as of yet but i did slap a set on XS DXT2 night sights for low light shooting I've had the DXT2's on all my CCW pistols but i love my 92. I like that red holster you had to cut for your optic. I carry a pocket edc light lol because i like heavy guns and prefer to keep my light and gun seperate so i don't have to point my gun unintentionally. Nice holsters though

I been around 2 separate 4 wheeler wrecks and a canoe trip where guns fell out the holster because there was no extra retention.

Where were you an MP? I was delta 795, assigned to 92nd MP Co. 709th MP Bn. 18th MP BDE. Five years, Germany, Afghanistan, and all over!!! Also my favorite pistols. I have a S&W 669 and 5906. First law enforcement pistols after the revolvers. I even dig the magazine disconnect feature.

Good points on training with what is available within the legal terrain. My question after thinking about a small 'truck gun' is this: Within the lower power factor of AR pistols with very short barrels, at what point does a 10mm handgun with a 6" barrel represent similar or better ft/lbs. of energy than a 7" AR pistol in 5.56? Many good loads of 10mm will surpass 600 ft/lbs. A 55 grain at a velocity of 2400 fps (approximate velocity from a 7" barrel) will give about 700 ft/lbs. of energy. Does the overall length, and weight of an AR pistol make enough of a difference, or does the smaller size and comparable power factor of the pistol win you over? Not decided yet, but worth thinking about.

Really good point! I’m a huge fan of 10mm myself, and for me personally, I’d feel pretty adequate with a handgun, and would feel even more so with a g20/40….I only rock 9mm at the moment because I have a lot more time on those platforms and a lot more ammo to sustain proficiency. In spite of this video, and perhaps I should do another one for clarification, I generally don’t support keeping a long gun in one’s car or the “truck gun” idea. I think the small foot print and simple readiness of a handgun benefits you in any situation more than the increased lethality of a larger platform. Now that could change should things worsen, and I certainly wouldn’t have blamed anyone for keeping one during 2020 or 2021 but for now, within the us, it’s personally not worth the liability of leaving a gun in a vehicle or the hassle of taking it to and fro….in spite of that though I’d rather have the platform fully developed before I actually need it, rather than after.

@@morlock8621Thanks for your reply and the further clarification. I am fortunate enough to live in an area where I am not worried about vehicle theft or break ins (small town USA). However, with several million fighting age men of unknown political persuasion having been let into our country by STOLUS and his crew of merry communists, I am thinking more and more of having a high quality response tool with me at all times. This is why I have been watching videos on AR pistols and similar tools. I always EDC, but recently feel the need to have a higher level of response at my side. Take care.

Bringing up 10mm in a pistol also opens up the option of a 10mm PCC with a similar barrel length, or up to 8" for an MP5 sized gun.
