They cant stop him from flying back to the US. He is a American citizen who need health care. They cant just leave him in the Philippines without care. This why Rose should have applied for a visa to travel with him for medical emergency purposes. Then she can stay for 90 days and then extend. That if they are married.

This is the problem young Filipinas gamble on. Sure you can get money to eat and take care of your extended family, but you're going to have to basically be a nurse's aid to your elderly husband one day. If you don't know how the world works with finances and higher civilization levels, you're going to struggle.

After amputation you can't fly for a minimum of 4-6months and that's dependant on how well you respond to recovery or treatment. He will be in the US until May/June possibly longer as a double amputee.

David is not going to stay in the United States. He has no family and friends over there. Rose is all he have.

If I had to put up with someones gangrenous sores and infection, leading to amputation yes I would demand that the person stay where he can get proper medical care.

Diabetes is called the second Alzheimer's. It does affect people mentally as well as physically. Especially if we do not take care of it. So sorry for the whole situation. David is better off here in the United States now. He can go to a nursing home which would be better in his case. He can get the necessary meds he needs and the diabetic diet ne needs.

Sadly the day David enters a nursing home, all his social security/ disability checks will go direct to the nursing home. That will be the last day Rose will receive a check for any household expenses. David should have warned her. That's how it works. Thats the law.

Sorry to hear what David is going through.,but the long time subscribers know what youvhave been going through.You bathe that man everyday like he was a baby..and you sang while doing it.I remember telling people that's the type of person ..I want by my side..What people are not hearing is that David has no savings..what do expect the poor woman to do..In the Philippines if you get sick and don't have the money to pay they won't even let you out of the hospital until you or your family makes the payment. It's time to take care of you now, if he is going to have his foot cut off it will be more stressful on you and it will affect your health and make you get older. Any money you get for taking care of him when he gives you such a hard time is bad for your health and your child and family and like you said you only have one body and one health. David did never take care of himself so he is now dealing with his judgement from the Lord
