With Bambu and other new printers coming out (quality better every year), it's getting close to resin-like quality prints without the mess with fdm. I have a Saturn I have just setting around when I tryed it, worked good but soooo much of a mess plus cost.

Hey thanks for the video. I'm going to be making the switch to Bambu labs, I have an ender 3, neo V2 and neo V2 max. The ender 3 started having hot end issues no .after what I do it under extrudes. The neo V2 is only a couple months old starting to have issues leveling, and extruding problems and and my neo max came with the z axis rod bearing falling out the print quality I think is horrible I'm done with creality. I been looking at the P1S and the x1. The only thing is I'm stationed overseas so I need the matching to be 110-230 volts. 230 while here in Germany and 110 when I'm back in the states. I asked Bambu labs I got an answer but not really what I asked. I'm going jump the gun and go for Bambu. Thanks for you video

hi i want to get into 3d printing and I don't live in the us so I can get this for about 641 dollars including shipping and tax or I can get the flashforge 5m (not pro) for 530 dollars in my country but I don't know which one I should get because the tx is closed and has a filter and the m5 isn't closed without a filter and I intend to put it in my room and I don't want the plastic particles in my room but I don't know how bud it really is so what would you recommend ? or maybe other printer maybe
@Draxis3d3 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late response. I would recommend any bambu labs printer over the flashforge at this point. Of the flashforge is cheaper and your are on a strick budget then look into the inclosed 5m. I think the bambu printers are much better, but the 5m printer isn't total trash and is cheaper
Not sure if this will work or if it will still be $270 by the time you see this but I have gotten this link a few times in my email now

Don’t give up on CAD. You will have a a-ha moment. Took me a while to get there. Have you considered Cult3D or Gumroad? I had a lot of success in views and free downloads on Cult3D, not much on Gumroad. Etsy has honestly scared me with their being so flaky and shutting people down. I don’t yet sell physical things, but STL theft and all that jazz.

I had a CR10v2..I do love tinkering, but rather tinkering on my terms. I design and print terrain for tabletop gaming. I’ve had a backlog in my design because of the issues with the printer. Now I got X1C and it’s a life changer. My workflow between design, prototyping and final product is absolutely a charm. I’m always designing and the printer is keeping up. Even on draft the quality is amazing. My backlog that I face is on me with painting that terrain lol

Good machine to build off of. Project machine. Klipper is what I would do. Get rid of anything proprietary. Good metal frame, etc. I have a creator pro from 2016, 300mm/s 4400 acceleration. Of course nothing but the frame and bed are original. Prints ABS like a champ. Ohh and I added a heater for the chamber.

The problems I've had with the Adventurer 5M is more with Flashforge themselves. They originally advertised that they would sell panels for a DIY enclosure but not only did this never happen but all mention from their website has been removed. You now have to source panels from a 3rd party. They also removed all mention of open source from their web page. The also sell an official camera and it does work but the cable was too short to work with their official enclosure. When I contacted support their response can be summarized as "that sucks, make/buy an extension". Official accessory with official design... Print quality is fine when it works but when a company barely can support their own devices, doesn't follow through with promises and releases basically beta software at launch I have a hard time suggesting anyone give them money.

Just caught up on all your videos. Keep up the great work! Seems we are on a similar path. I opened my Etsy store around the same time as you did, but I have no sales yet. Feel like I'm getting close though. I gave a friend $20 to buy something about a month ago to kickstart my sales, but she took the money and ran. I considered it a marketing expense... It was cheaper than a month of Etsy ads and just as effective. 😆 Just wanted to mention a couple things. I noticed you have one listing that has no tags which is bad for SEO (search engine optimization). Also, you don't need an enclosure for PETG. You can print it on an open printer like the A1 mini or P1P just fine.

I've been to your store and I see that you already got two sales, congratulations! It feels to me like the variation in your store is too small. There are basically two different types of potters. The price range is also exactly the same for all which means the customer can't feel the feeling of variety price wise. I would suggest getting some small succulent pots. I would also suggest creating something like a funnel or some addition things that can be added to the purchase. Even if nobody buys them they are a good place to get the customer to be able to make a decision. However don't overdo decision making as people usually tend to go for one of the three first things they see.

I, personally, would skip ABS and go straight to ASA if you're going that route. ASA was engineered with 3D printing in mind so it's easier to print with and less toxic.

This is so cool to be here at the beginning i can't wait until you skyrocket on youtube. it's going to be a grind but i believe in you man the audio is so much better now. also the video quality is great you never actually mention what your etsy shop name is. In a video that might help people just watching find it if they don't read the comments section. a tip for you would be to get a notebook or something and a pen.whenever you run into a problem on the printer wright down the problem then write down the solution that you found. so you can reference it latter this would have saved me 5 weeks of waiting on parts if i had done this earlier .also spare parts are a good idea to have on hand.Sorry for the long comment just hoping to help you from my experience lol.

Keep up the awesome work and videos. SEO is search engine optimization it's really just about making sure you have a good title, have all 13 tags use in your Etsy listings. Also make sure all the Attributes that apply plus categories in Etsy. Looks like you only have one category 3d pots but if you where to add plant ID tag stake (low cost print and would fit in with what you're selling) you could make another category. Anyway hope to see more and thanks for sharing your journey.

Thanks for sharing, but why you had 10 creality if they keep failing? Am i missing something? Thanks
@Draxis3d5 ай бұрын
So I got on og cr-10 when they came out a long time ago. It was so good compared to the first printer I got that I got a second one. Shortly after that, I started having issues with them. Long story short, I listened to the youtube reviews and believed creality was a good company. From my perspective, they are not. I want a machine that prints and requires maintenance every so often, not a machine that breaks and needs repairs every so often. Nothing against most youtube creators. Most are fine with tinkering with the printer and upgrading. That is not what I originally wanted. Sorry for the long reply. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
