Some excellent tips in here. Thank you. I’m sure you cut multiple pieces while the saw it’s in each direction rather than moving the saw back and forth for every cut.

10:00 it's better to have a harder wood for the tread jig because soft pine dive boards when you push down and messes up the precision of the duplication - just a thought :)

Question on Calibration. I have this exact saw and my issue is, the saw doesn’t hold true on a 40+ degree bevel when sliding. Around halfway to full stop on the slide the saw is slightly out of square to the fence. Any other bevels less than 40 degrees everything is true and square. Is there a fix/adjustment for this?

that much space in the shop i’d definitely be building a cart the same height as the table saw possibly with a steel top for storing the feeder when not in use.

What i dont like about these and many other knee pads is that they lift your knees up significantly higher and in result you will need to bend more towards the ground , which gives you more pressure on the back, so to give you all advice look for these things, the layer should be as thinner as possible, and the knee pads not to go down on the legs

Forrest is the way to go! American made and one free sharpening with every purchase. However, your saw sucks. Go Hitachi with smaller blade...less wobble.

Definitely better than monkey with compound adjustments, However; in this example I do prefer to plane down the jam as it should flush with plaster/drywall and would eliminate doing this step 4 times....additionally, often the jam is not out "equally" either on all 4 corners... so your trick , albeit seemingly simple, can be convoluted on very out of whack windows.

Hey Spencer great imfomative video i have recentl purchased a Kapex 120 and i am having problems sourcing a suitable fitting large enough to fit over the Kapex dust port like you show on the video. My dustnport has "cleantec" embossed on it and is nominally 40mm in Diameter however there are some nibs which are some give some kind of bayonet fitting which increase the Diameter to about 44 mm. Do you have the part nos or source of tbe vacuum hose fitting you use please

My dad was a master woodworker and I've tried to improve upon his work over the years. I've built a ton of stuff and NOBODY ever told me about cleaning my blades. I feel real dumb. But I'm going t go to work on that. Still considering the ROI on the good blade sharpening plan. But you're pitch was pretty damn good. Got me thinking.

You're the man Spencer. A very 'user friendly' video (similar to all your other videos that I've seen), diction is clear, slow & precise, tools are first class & following the steps you suggest always gives great results. Thnx for doing what you do . . . so well, I might add!!

You can calibrate some fences. My fence is bolted on, so I was able to calibrate it by loosening them and making the adjustments before tightening the bolts again.

Fantastic video, thanks! Lots of great tips I can implement in my office remodel. Router issues like the one you had here give me nightmares. As a DIYer struggling my way through projects, I find that my table saw with a dado stack is a less error-prone way to cut rabbets/dados into boards (sacrificial fence on the table saw for rabbets) - although it probably doesn't provide as clean a finish on the cut.

I think festool is just selling name. If you are into running a business and just investing into name brand. Then you shouldn’t be running a business. Invest into tools to get the job done for the price and reliability. I love Milwaukee. Fare price and good engineering
