Many of us uneducated plebs know that spending billions on wars only makes a few rich people richer.

It's still hard for me to believe there is not a conspiracy or a war on the west by communists. If these politicians are just that stupid and don't see a currency collapse when me a gardener can see it coming before I even discovered these videos talking about it. Then the politicians will cripple themselves too as a currency collapse will hit them and their families. The story Steve says about father working as a builder and joints etc gone, that is literally me, exactly how I feel, my body is fuked age 43 I can't keep doing this much longer, I had cancer age 24 fought my way back hot house and savings and now just seeing it being stolen, which is basically my life of working being stolen

We don't need interest rates. We don't need to debase and devalue our money; the only reason we do it is to try and make something from nothing, but it doesn't work. It just gives more money to those with the most money, everyone who has to work for their money ends up with less.

1:20 or thereabouts. Join a party to make a difference. That is EXACTLY what happened with Corbyn -and look how that ended, with the rich and powerful waging a campaign against hime to ensure that he never got a sniff of power. I'm really enjoying this interview with Steve Baker because despite my antipathy towards Tories he makes so much sense and is very articulate. But there's a flaw in the logic with regard to joining a political party as he's advocating that people do to thwart Farage.
@jamesmash39272 сағат бұрын
it is not the people's choice. We don't have a real democracy. We have two parties that are both in it for themselves, funded by people who are in it for themselves. We can choose between the lesser of two shit options. We have learned the politicians won't help us, so we must help ourselves, look after ourselves.

Lots of egocentric talk but you do like to support your own family don't you? All kids in the world are everybody's responsibility meaning if you are better you better work for everybody and not stack all your earnings for your own pity family. Grow up man

The Conservative Party most likely has rules in place and members in play who can see off any attempt to co-opt them from the upper-class elites that own it, even if you try to subvert the party via their rules. It is immaterial. The solution is in fact to let failed political parties ‘expire’ and to be done with them; to allow something new to stand in its place. I don’t believe for a moment Reform UK is that, however as you’ve said, a third of the electorate are simply disinterested-of which I count myself. I don’t think I could re-engage with British politics even if a populist party came along saying everything I want to hear, because I’m too distrustful to give them a chance. Now, if the old party Nigel Farage takes credit for having stopped (I cannot say them here because KZbin censors it) were to make a comeback, I would send my vote their way. However, their ex-leader has stated on many occasions that there is no political solution out of this crisis; and I agree. But, in the unlikely event he decided to throw his hat in the ring one more time, I’d throw my vote at them one last time too, because I want a party that puts me and my interests ahead of the rest of the world (as a starting point!)

Just as Bitcoin serves as a "constant" source of value, an even more advanced investment tool is putting money into products tied to the Bitcoin system that provide technical solutions for optimization. A prime example is the MintLayer project, which is a Layer 2 solution on Bitcoin with its ecosystem token, ML, and an active airdrop phase that includes the requirement to stake the token

This is the most bizarre conversation I've listened to in quite some time. My general feelings were along the lines of... "That doesn't sound right..." "THAT doesn't sound right!" "That's a good point." "That feels a little off..." "Whaaaaaaat?" "Okay, now you're speaking my language." "That's a crazy concept and you're talking about it in a fluffy way, but I get what you mean." "Eh, I think you've gone too far here." "You have vocalized something I've thought about and have never been able to put into words before." "You are insane. You know that, right?" What scares me most is the possibility that I've learned something from this one, and I just haven't realized it yet. I'm glad I clicked it!

Aussies are forced to vote because if it wasn’t forced, no one would bother. She’ll be right mate.
@davecurtis866 сағат бұрын
I think it helps keep the two party system in power... We're forced to vote, and it's preferential.. so even if you don't vote libs or labour they still seem to end up with all the votes. Would be nice if no one was forced to vote and the only people who showed up voted for some extreme outliers

5 minutes in and the guest seems like the government, voting, and politics are foreign to him because they don’t effect him. I fully expect him to spend the next hour and a half trying to explain how bitcoin helps fight the system that he ignores

Populism and Democracy are the same. It doesn't make sense to say engage in the democratic process by joining the Conservatives but joining Reform is simply being populist.

@ralflustig218013 сағат бұрын
Yeah. He built up the biggest brand with WBD in the Bitcoin space. Then he renamed it to something rediculous. Then he talks about the same topics with fewer viewers. And now the real bull market is coming and he serves drinks to people in his bar and watches football. My marketing guy says you could not have done it wrong more even on purpose. Next: Win the Premier League and then send the players to womens Volleyball.

@@ralflustig2180 don't be so harsh on him. Talking about the same topics gets boring and you constantly scratch other topics you want to dive more into. I totally get the move.
