Higs is another option as a Zone coverage beater and against Man when matched up on a smaller safety (Redzone) or LB (between the 20s). Like Jake said, he also should get more opps with all the attention being paid to the 4 WRs. He’s just a more experienced and feared option which opens up the field for Staff as there are so many options and almost all have different skill sets.

Even three catches for 40 yards a game and one touchdown everything three games would be a major improvement for the TE position.

Tyler higbee could be a difference maker when he returns but him being the best tight end in rams history with a franchise that’s been around for so long is crazy lol reminds you why the rams only have two rings being around that amount of time. In some positions they are really lacking…. In other positions like QBs, left tackle, especially running back they are incredibly deep in 🎉🎉🎉

Sean McVay is a drug addict, his Fentynal fix is his 11 personnel grouping. Throwing to the TE is an after thought. So the TRUE value to a Rams TE is in value as a blocker. Is Higbee the Rams BEST blocking TE? This is also the reason the Rams dodged a bullet by not completing the trade which would have allowed them to draft Brock Bowers and got really luckily having Jared Verse slip to them at #19. If Bowers had been drafted by the Rams, he would've busted through non-use. Falling to the Raiders was much better for his career.
