Can you please help me, I am O RhD positive and produce Anti-E, how does this occur?
@BloodTalks
@BloodTalks 8 күн бұрын
Thank you for your question. Your blood type has nothing to do with you having anti-E or not. The ABO blood group is different from the Rh blood group. E is part of the Rh blood group. Since E is not a naturally occurring antibody, you had to be exposed to it in the past. There are a couple of ways you can exposed to E antigens such as blood transfusion, pregnancy if you are a female, or needle sharing.

Stick a pin at #2 question, in addition to the patient becoming more upset, the white blood cells are also increased, due to the stress on the body, making it ready for any emergency.

Hey I am a new subscriber and I’ve been watching your videos for about a few days now and I am so happy I found you. I am not sure if you did a video on this yet, but how do I know what color to use when it comes to test tube color look up for drawing blood from a doctor order?
@BloodTalks
@BloodTalks 3 ай бұрын
Each tube comes with specific preservative, so it is dependent on the test. Test requirements should tell you that. Is there a specific test you are looking for?

When a hospitalized patient with a history of transfusions due to MDS (blood disease) needs a transfusion due to low hemoglobin, what are the “orders” that must be made to obtain the proper blood.? And are there min standards that are considered acceptable in the orders? Or are the orders needed MUST DO’S. Please advise. Thank you! Robin
