You know just gets frustrating when you work so hard and have been so proud of your progress but have nothing to show for it 😔 But yes I do know that it's still somewhat early, I was just hoping at least to have one sale a day would have been better than earning nothinga 5 hours. Hello ..These are so cute…You are not alone..I will try and start on Monday..I just been watching everybody video’s..Procrastinating that is me..I am boxing up Easter stuff so I can start..Happy Basket making

Yeah, for me if I don't start right away like right after Easter I should have started then I will wait until the very last minute LOL. But even if you want to make a few that's good too. For me starting is the hardest part. I packed up my Easter stuff right after Easter but it took me so long to finish cleaning up which I'm still not done but I figured I need to start on these Mother's Day baskets.

Thank you I definitely did. Not only that but I was able to donate 50 Easter cups gifts to kidding the community. Someone donated the money for them.

You're better off not shopping at dollar stores at all. I used to shop at places like that and learned that it actually cost me more than the big box stores, because the dollar store stuff was so cheap that I had to replace broken stuff all the time. Places like Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc, are all designed to prey on low income people and bargain hunters. It's all junk that isn't fit to even donate.

So, you're right. It should be for sale especially if it's on the floor anywhere. They should have never set anything back for personal sale there are several rules about it. But, do we set stuff back so we can purchase it later especially when we know it's going to on sale? Yes. It's really one of the only perks we have in this job, knowing when things are going on sale. Put that stuff in the break room though! Also in the stores defense, sometimes they do tell us to pull things that will soon be going to a penny, and that stuff may not have been for an associate to buy, that's why it was just set out in sight, then no we can't sell it to you.

Yeah I know that much, but she did tell me that it was for another employee. But yeah I get the fact that you're going to set stuff to decide for yourself but like you said don't put it in plain sight of a customer because we're going to think that it's okay to buy it as a customer. I've never encountered an issue like this before while shopping at Dollar general.

I had Family Dollar do the same thing to me over some tumblers. Sign said 90% off and she said they couldn't sell it to me. That it would either be thrown away or packed back up for next year. Yeah right!

That is true, but why keep an employees items DISPLAYED IN A WINDOW? That's one of the parts that makes no sense. Especially after seeing that I was the 3rd person to ask about the items. Maybe they should've moved them to the floor behind the counter. That's what makes no sense to me.

She initially told me that they were a co-workers items. Then after talking to her about scanning the items to see what the price actually was and she then seen that they were a dollar she then told me that she wasn't allowed to sell them anyway even if they wasn't the employees... That's definitely scheming and scamming. But if you don't think so that's totally fine, carry on 😉

I found Jesus….🙏😇🙌🙌❤️ WWJD My DG always does this, they would hide penny items, or clearance from me for themselves or family& friends. I was denied penny Valentines balloons that they put up thinking I had gone. I will spend the whole shift of an employee there finding penny items or scanning stuff. This time when a person literally grabbed 4 penny balloons 🎈 ( that they put out) & I grab two heart balloons for my niece. Employee said o’ those aren’t a penny. & they aren’t for sale … They’re all ready taken??? Right… I give this employee penny stuff all the time. Only reason I was able to get ALL 90-% sets was said employee was on vacation. So go to DG’s with male managers or younger female male employees ( who don’t have kids) who don’t care about clearance shopping penny items or couponing . I had a come to Jesus moment and realized that that’s about the only great perk they get for working there. 🙏😇❤️🙌🙌🙌
