Do you think Kensei should have 10 damage unreactable soft feint lights like the other soft feint characters? It would give a lot more pressure to his unblockable mixups and improve his neutral options without making him too op. Though Kensei is probably one of the most balanced characters can't really complain, plus the 16 damage on soft feint light is nice even though its reactable.

All Kensei needs right now to catch up is this: Heavy soft-feint options should be available on all sides. Not sure how finishers would work, but the prior 2 hits would be okay to work with on this. His side Superior Dodges are lacking in punish damage. His swift strike, when used after a superior dodge, should become Unblockable and deal some more damage in turn. For memes, we could make nature's wrath get the same treatment. And can we _finally_ enhance his forward light? Gryphon has had this for years now!

I honestly like how he only does it from top heavy, for example if you do a neutral top heavy most people will just dodge expecting the bash which can give you a free gb or dodge attack parry which is nice. But I definitely agree about his superior dodges they feel so awkward, either just give him the guardbreak punish like zerker or the crushing counter dodge attacks like tiandi.

I'd nerf kensei way before i buff him. His stupid hit stun gimmick is like a mini pin on all his attacks. he some very brain dead ganks. also, 30 damage side heavy finishers are some of the highest in the game. and 34 on the unblockable is just ridiculous. i despise kensei, and i think him being the only character with higher base hitstun times across the board makes him very unhealthy for new players. hes still not as bad as cent or glad since they are the last 2 stamina bullys in the game, and thats way more broken. im not saying kensei is a good character, cause hes not. he's barely mid teir, but he is bad for the game.

his side dodge attacks looked so good before they reworked him, now he sadly only does the animation of the forward side dodge attack into his other strikes, it was slow, silly and dumb but im sad that the animation no longer exists at all. He already is the dumbed down version of kensei. They just needed to make the animation faster.
