I love the music, so ancient European and partical Asian, which is just right for this engine, since it is made from various parts of Europe and Parts from USA. But when you take a look at the full drive line package, the 2005+ volvo's come with Aisin, which is a Toyota company that manufactures the best transmissions (according to Scotty Kilmer). The low rpm power of the b5425t engine and the long gears of the Aisin, it is a very very nice combo. Makes me park the Integra 1990 Sedan with the 1.7 DOHC VTEC on the short geared YS1 GSR transmission, ... when in the Volvo, I tell you, ... riding in the volvo is almost like the music being played in this video. WHO is the artist of this music?

how many kilometers of weld you make, did you sand manifold from inside because it is bumpy because of many welds and it makes turbulence on gas flow

If the prize is for the most welds, you win. It definitely looks very 'artsy'. You should know that at most only 3 sections of tubing, each with a bend of arc angle x, and straight section length l, are required to get from point on a collector to a point on the exhaust manifold. The art is generally in finding 5 sets of (x and l) solutions that result in equal length primaries, fitment in chassis, where primaries don't collide with each other, etc. There's software out there that does this automatically. I design headers for F1 and Nascar... they would never race anything with this many welds, not reliable.

Hello from Greece. Congratulations for the great job. I would like to ask you how thin is the pipe you used cause I am thinking to build my own manifold for my b234f Volvo engine and I have yours as a plan how to do it. So I need 2mm or 3mm pipe? Thanks in advance Jason...

Damn Dad, I still haven't made a manifold. Sad times. I had some questions. I would like some advice on how to start learning to weld something like this. I am currently a welder and should have enough welding skills to weld it. What I don't know is material thicknesses, how to practice, the best way to make all the pie cuts, what angles to cut the pie cuts. I am planning to cut the pie cuts at 9 degrees, probably some .040-.060 3" stainless steel tubing. I'll probably be making the cuts on a cold cut chop saw. Don't have a bandsaw. 🙄 I mean there's one at work so... Maybe a bandsaw haha. I also don't have a dual flow regulator so I'll probably practice on a few pieces without purging. If I am going to get serious about building a manifold I'll get a dual flow regulator.
