his mouse has a DPI button near MB5 and he uses that for the floor (N is the keybind because fortnite doesn't recognise the button as a key so he linked the button to N)

His binds are only optimal if you learn to use your ring finger for w, Cooper and Boltz have the best binds for most players who play with the standard hand position. Cooper's binds give you full control of your movement but you have to edit with your thumb, Boltz binds have every build on a separate finger and you get to edit with your fastest finger but you have less control of your diagonal movement when building and editing. Truly optimal binds have to factor in things like sprinting before you build, building before you jump and edit or editing and then pulling out your shotgun with the same finger. If you're trying to learn how to play like Peterbot I recommend you bind your scroll wheel click to sprint(Cooper does this) and learn to press control with your palm for crouch that way you don't have to use your pinky for anything but movement that's optimal. (If you look up quad edit world record the guy uses his hand like this for control but he uses it to move to the right instead so his pointer finger is free)

@ nah I can do all of that on my binds i have sprint on mb5 though and peters binds are still more optimal I can explain if you are confused

@ Peterbot is able to do any key combination basically while holding W with inventory, building and editing, weapon slots, pickaxe, sprinting, reloading, rotating builds, sliding, repairing, jumping, and using trap. Also, read my last comment that stuff too. Its okay that his build binds arent on his mouse buttons, actually it is optimal, because if all of your build binds are on your keyboard the timing between placing each of them will be much easier as you wont have to time a mouse buttons with a keystroke, you will just have to time a keystroke to a keystroke to say place a stair and a cone. To add on to this, him having edit, wall, stair and floor all on his pointer finger means that he will almost never mess up an edit when using just those builds, as he has to move his finger between each key to press individually instead of using different fingers to time the edit after placing the build. Having cone on a different finger is smart, as he can piece quicker, as opposed to having a different build piece there. Also, having all of his build keybinds off of his mouse means that he has better crosshair placement as his mouse doesnt make micro moves whenever selecting a build piece (try it, it works). Obviously his sprint key is not optimal, that could be placed on his mouse buttons 5, but it is still accessible enough to use better than other regular keybinds. His map could also be moved from m to b, and he could move his 5th slot to e and unbind interact from e so that its just on scroll wheel up, but overall his keybinds are way above any other pros in terms of accessibility to every action in a fight and fighting optimizations. I have no clue how he was able to find these keybinds in early chapter 2. I made my own keybinds that have all of these concepts but I can also move left and right while doing all of the actions above and my map, sprint, slots, and reload/rotate access is a little quicker, and also I can freebuild with my shotgun out faster too.

Also just to add to this a lot of people make the primary keybind something random and set the secondary keybind in the setting to be the actual thing that way icons don’t reveal their keybinds to gremlins who make pro keybind videos so these might not even be accurate 🤷🏻‍♂️
