Turns out that if you try to go into the league via climbing over the nearby mountain, the moment you reach it, the screen goes black momentarily, and then it sends you to the exit of the tunnel that leads to it, meaning you have to manually walk/ride there like a normal person.

Missed this since I was a kid bc Zygarde is my favorite pokemon of all time especially the shiny!
