Prince just wanted a woman he could control and in the process wasted Jill's time and opportunity. He never did anything with her musically becuz he probably didnt think she had "it". But then Prince's protégé record isnt exactly the best. His biggest most successful protégé is STILL Sheila E. Pretty much every female act he tried to develop never amounted to much. Bria Valente is still MIA....Anyone remember Carmen Electra?? yeah she was his foray into rap/hiphop..lol..Ingrid Chavez, Rosie Gaines, Taja Sevelle...all misses and no mainstream hits...not like Sheila.

Respect to you ladies- ye were great! That must have been some wild journey. Great to see you all recap. Everybody knows that the music industry is nasty - ye kept the grace and didn’t lose the soul. Bravo 👏🏼! It can’t have been easy being creatives in a hard corporate industry. I absolutely love the Sex Shooter video on some German TV Pop show - WOW!

I'm LOVING these conversations 😍 *a lil constructive feedback * on Spotify the sound is loud then low over & over. In my car im turning the volume up & down the whole time .... The sound is static-ey , I'm wondering if you would tweak it with an AV person & maybe consider getting headphones . On Joe Rogans podcast the sound is flawless. I'm just so enthralled by these memories & stories & hope to only be helpful for many more podcasts to come 🙏🏻 🙌🏽 ❤

Love Jill, Appollonia and the show but I have to say this........What's really interesting about most of these interviews is that for someone who was a consummate musician (Prince), most of the people that were around him at that time have VERY LITTLE to say about the actually music. This was a a 2 hr. interview and they spent maybe 5 percent talking about music and 95 percent talking about drama. What I'm finding is that ALL interviews about him are like this, unless they are talking to Susan Rogers or someone like that. It kind of makes me think that they either did very little music with him or that his life was just full of drama.

Just an observation : it's crazy how many women accepted to be part of a harem, in the hope that something good would come out of it for them - whether it was fame, love, a career, or whatever else. The sad truth is that the outcome was not that great for most of them...

No one is going to question this man approaching 14-15 year old girls, that's weird and disappointing. But with everything coming about these days, I'm not surprised. And Susans more detailed story I'm SURE he slept with these girls or was inappropriate =. The Hookers? Why is this okay?? I pray for the next generation

Apollonia, please ask your mate Jill Jones about her allegation that Prince punched her several times in the face, At every opportunity since his death she has spoken about her time with him and working with him, not once did she mention him punching her. The woman has now said on the Netflix documentary that he punched her and she has not gotten over it 30 years later. It is no wonder Prince did not trust anyone.
