great footage and a high energy ragged (yet tight) performance. I also enjoyed the mid 70s UK TV show host between song banter.

The opener is one of the strongest, most propulsive straight-to-the-balls live performances I've heard. Like goddamn. I checked out the studio version and it was great, but it didn't capture the same fury. Shoutout to the cameraman following the guitar.

I’ll always remember my first time in CBGB’s. 1977 i was 17 and we herd they didn’t card you. So me and 2 friends who were into the Ramones and Blondie decided to go. No internet or even adverts for CB’s in New Jersey we took the bus then the train to the Bowery. We had been to NYC before but just the village or Times Square, the Bowery shocked and scared us. We went into CB’s and a band(2 guys) called Suicide we playing. Needless to say we left even more shocked nd scared after seeing those guys. You’ll know what I’m talking about if you have ever witnessed one of their shows. I probably went at least 100 times after that.

Dr Feelgood never got the recognition they deserve so much. If ever there was a band that should be in the Rock n Roll hall of fame, this is it. Tight, loud and raw, all a great rock band should be.
