AAAAA I’m beginning book 4 of this series and I can confidently say Derrick is my favorite character, he is just so perfect, an experienced protecter with a real heart but also a no-business type man; I like it! A perfect mix of Chris and Jeff, but even better. I see comments saying he is gonna get with Paisley and honestly I cannot wait, he really deserves someone because it’s the not fair he is the only person without someone to truly love in their new upside-down world!! they are gonna be so adorable together 🎀 I’m gonna be so sad when I finish this series 😭 100/10 recommend

I was just stopping by to leave a comment to see if all was well- and here you are! I cannot relate to the Mormon church specifically but do understand what your saying. Cults to consciousness here on YT is an ex Mormon and has talked in depth about it. I am happy to hear you began questioning it all. For me, I did attend a radical church(Pentacostal) that kinda messed me up for a bit. I still have my beliefs but they are not from any church teachings. IMO, it is about Jesus, the way he was- Not how he/it is being taught today. I will check back for the next audiobook.

I’m 63 ….. I do understand how Kate feels… however She handled everything well before Luke told her that he is a billionaire. In my mind as I am listening…. Kate should flip the script, put herself in Luke’s position. What if she was a billionaire and disguised herself…..would it help her to be more understanding towards Luke. I just want her to go with the flow… seriously Luke can have everything and anything that his money can buy…. but he chose to get to know her and things were going well. In my opinion Luke had every right to protect his identity. I 💯 percent claim this ✨✨✨🎯 Let me stop talking….I’m only on chapter 31 🫢

A very frustrating story to follow. Gangster villains with an entire empty world full of stuff to take, and they waste their time harassing survivors? Survivors with a de-populated world to salvage,..and they waste their time on camper RV's instead of inhabiting ranches? I suppose I'm just not seeing the logic. Then again,..these characters might just be dumb. Much of their problems can be solved with a scoped .308,..provided they ever considered *Security* important. 🤷🏽‍♂
