Fun fact! Circular hitboxes are actually better for performance than rectangular hitboxes. This is because it's much easier to detect a collision within a circle, since the math is much less intensive; not having to bother calculating distance from each vertex. This also has the benefit of making the detection of where the character hits the collider much easier as well, as it's simply calculated as distance from the central point.

​@@sadhumanzrectangles which aren't rotated are easier than circles though because in most cases you simply check if the x coord is greater than the start of the rectangle and less than the start+width of the rectangle. This means you basically compute nothing and just compare numbers, with a circle you need to calculate the distance. Also getting the exact collision point is not really relevant in Isaac I think

Let me get you all up to speed, I have commented about the situation in previous videos, so I am basically gonna say what's up and basically do a quick recap. I have this heart thing (Gotta be honest I don't even understand it) I had it when I was born and I was in the hospital for the first month of my life. I was doing fine for pretty much the rest of my life until about a year ago, it came back to bite me. Then I got hospitalized and most recently I got out.
