All women suffer with extreme pain at the start, its's totally expected. I had Mastitis with all of my kids at some point and it was excruciating but I persevered with the pain in order to give my kids the best start. None them suffered with colds etc. I believe she gave up in order to travel, the trip to NYC was pre planned so she obviously had no intention to continue.

You are always so honest about brands and I believe you only share what you really believe in even if it is a brand deal, so wonderful job Fleur. There are a lot of people who don’t seem to grasp that concept so they give you crap about making money off your baby when you are really just trying to help people to know what the best products are. I used to have dry facial skin as well. Our family internist recommended sweet almond oil for me, and my mom used it ever since very successfully. So successfully that I was using sweet almond oil underneath my moisturizer up to age 44. I am going on 46 now and have recently replaced my oil with a hyaluronic acid and it's well worth it. My mom used to put a few drops on a cotton ball and then rubbed it into my face gently.

I just have to say that I love these videos! It reminds me of when my sisters all had their babies and all the talk was about what baby liked or helped them sleep. Basically the science of keeping them content! Lovely to feel that again. ☺️ such a nice mothery feeling ❤️

My little boy is 10 months now - how time flies when you are having fun. Our essentials would be the Tommee tippee prep machine for bottles, fisher price jumperoo (amazing as I can put him in it and get on with housework for a good 40 mins!)

Yes on the play mat! My son loved it for all the same reasons at River's age and even at 10+ months he now likes to kneel at the piano and play it! You can rotate the piano up like a real keyboard when they get older or remove it and it's portable!

I know a lot of people love the Jumperoo but we had a play station (or whatever you call it haha) that swivelled instead and out little boy loved that. I think it was from ELC - would definitely recommend! Jackie O xo

Great video, I have a 7 week old girl, and have a similar playmat to your skip hop one but she finds it hard to interact so going to check out the fisher price one. My no.1 recommendation for newborns is the Love to Dream Swaddle. My daughter is just out growing the first one but I’ve just bought her the next size up. She also loves her Baby Bjorn bouncer.

Loved this! Vitamins are so important, even if you're not pregnant. I take a fair amount to help with my fibromyalgia and it makes a difference. Loved seeing you interact with River at the end, such a cute little girl. So impressed with how you've managed to keep up making such excellent content while River is still so young. Hello hun. My little boy was born less than a month after River... His name is Benjamin. Aren't babies such a blessing, I love being a mummy. Anyway I picked up on your comment an the sleeping bag things (or sleepy suit as we call it in our house lol). We have thicker ones like you showed but we also have thinner ones ready for summer. They are Aden and Anais. Definitely would recommend them to you :)

The Sainsbury’s TU gro-bags are the BEST. I tried all the expensive brands gro bags etc and the Sainsbury’s ones are awesome. Around £10 and SO soft. Think they’re doing a 1.5 and a 0.5 tog for summer which is so handy so they can’t overheat xx

I find Oilatum brand the best bath and cream for baby onwards. Is good for alot skin problem things. The second brand also good is Epiderm. Love the safari mat piano you have i have all the same safari things too for my son when he was a baby in the play mat, the baby seat, and the musical toy over the pram.

We just use it when we need to put him down because he often screams if we just put him in the baby chair. We only bought it because him refusing to be put down was really making my PND worse x

Why is everyone so obsessed with seeing River? Just because Fleur does an ad it doesn't mean she has to show you her child. We live in an age that people share way too much online and too many parents don't even think twice about putting their kids on the internet before they are old enough to decide for themselves what they want to do. Please stop acting entitled. It's NORMAL to not want your kids' faces online. She is doing what is best for her family. Did it ever occur to anyone that she is probably easily recognizable? Her daughter could be as well and that isn't safe for an infant.

We had so many beautiful wraps as well and both of my girls hated them. We always had better luck with the carrier types as well. I think if I had someone that could have trained me in baby wrapping it would have been easier but I just needed something where we could grab it and go.

Try funky giraffe for bibs. They do every colour you can want as well as patterned. I liked them because they kept my daughter dry when she was dribbling and teething

My daughter used to snuggle up to one of those old school reusable nappies (I used them to capture my leaky breast milk while feeding because I leaked a lot) always feel asleep with it over her face. Now she’s one and when she was about 6 months we got her at Taggie blanket and she will not sleep without it to rub on her face. They love texture!

I loved the walker for all my kids, they are unfortunately very unsafe and have been banned in Canada for many years, we used it on the first floor for a couple of hours a day, it was freeing for me and they felt very independent in it. I was also given the worst crib with knobs on the top, I recall my daughter climbed over the rails and her undershirt got caught, she was dangling on the outside of the crib, why on earth didn't it occur to us at the time, well they survived and we got better by the second child! I look at new moms now with great admiration and think I was such an idiot as a first time mother..haha

Hi Fleur very nice vlog about you and River. I feel every woman goes through the emotions you did when having a baby. We adopted and I went through the same emotions too! I have even thought what have I done! Anyway Nikolas has brought Keith and I much joy and happiness but also alot of struggles as well. Nikolas has Downs, so it has been a journey! Now we are in a good place, Nikolas is very loving and he has matured alot. He will be 25yrs July 16. So we have gone through alot of emotions and struggles. I think now we are all in a good place. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the NHS say don't get those type of thermometers (I'm guessing the Nokia one is an infra red type one) for babies and recommend the cheap stick in the mouth ones instead due to accuracy of measurement which is so crucial especially in 0-3m olds.

I’m pregnant and due in a month so now I’m checking I have everything and finish the gift list (I’m Belgian, we don’t really do baby showers here even it’s starting to be seen more and more but a gift list where people can choose what they want to offer). FYI I work with sick kids and the infrared thermometers look really snazzy but aren't as accurate. The best ones are actually cheap digital ones you can pop in the armpit Also I'm so happy that you haven't folded into the pressure of showing little River's face to the internet
