I got mine yesterday and can only get up to 57mph fully tucked, but it’s awesome and really fun.

I've got mine up to around 50, but I think it is happiest around 40, 45, maybe. Mine is great for errands and commuting around town. I want to take it out to the countryside on the back roads, because, going on the freeways is a bit of a stretch. It seems like dealers in Florida got all of the US CT125s. I had to get mine shipped to Houston from Florida. All of the dealers around here had no bikes, a waiting list that was 10 deep, and only expecting one bike all year.

Its called a "Trail 125" and not "Highway 125" for a reason... awesome trail riding bike!

I can see why these are so popular and sought after. Definitely a sweet little bike and thanks for the segment. One of the biggest factors in buying and selling, anything..., is price. Disappointing to have to comment regarding this omitted detail.
@jasonhochman37502 жыл бұрын
It costs around $4000. But then you have to add dealer fees, tax, etc. etc. This review doesn't tell you that it also has a kick start, front ABS, disk brakes front and back, LED lights.

I had a trail 90 back in 1978 when I was a kid back in PA. We lived an a back woods dirt road so the bike was perfect. Now I'm 58 and I may but a ct125 just for the memories of those old dusty country roads.

I honestly thought this video was 5 minutes long and needed it all to reach 60mph.

The handlebars and starter sound is identical to a foretrax 420. Grips and buttons all the same. Very durable stuff here, u can’t tear nothing up on the fortrax

If anybody remembers these bikes from back in the day. They where made to go trail riding. If anything thing, they should offer some off road stuby tires as an optional along with and the ability to lower the gear ratio so that can have more of a bottom end with torque. Hence have the ability to cawl up about anything that has a steep incline.

Why is the cluster mounted to the side and not to the centre I wonder. Is this to accommodate phone mounts?

the "kill switch" is also a feul pump primer when you turn it on. You can hear it when you switch it on, but of course you didnt allow the feul pump tp prime properly and just started it instantly. Also, please wear proper safety gear when riding. And learn the shift points too, it literally says in the owners manual the recommended shift times, 2nd=12mph, 3rd=19mph, 4th=25mph.

It won't do 60MPH in stock form. You sound like a salesman trying to sell a bike. Why not put a mechanic or real motorcycle racer on the bike and then do a test ride. Honda missed the boat on this bike and it does need certain things to make it a true "trail" bike. However, it is a blast to ride and check my channel out and see how I put mine to the real tests and then made the bike better. Way better. Can do 110 KPH which is 66 MPH with more throttle and the engine pulling hard. Ran out of strait road. You can see it in one of my videos.... Not nice to do the bait and switch on a video. Tell the truth, you did 49 MPH, I saw it on the speedometer, far short of 60 MPH........
