Holly no! Don't fall into the "minifigures are valuable because they're exclusive" trap! Minifigures are valuable if they're GOOD and somebody WANTS to have them. A figure does not become "worthless" if its re-released elsewhere, that's just investor-talk.

It just becomes worth less than if it was exclusive to one set. Look at the recent Captain Rex mini figure as an example. It was initially released as exclusive to the D2C Venator but then got released with a micro fighter (Captain Rex's Y-Wing) which decreased the value of the figure.

I miss the mini dual sets like the force awakens one with Rey and Kylo and the Mustafar one with Anakin and Obi wan. They shouldn’t have stopped making sets in that style, because an Ahsoka vs. Morgan set in that style would’ve been great. Or make it a bit bigger and include Ezra and Thrawn too.

This is the worst kind of LEGO set- something that is only desirable for what minifigures it offers up with the build as an afterthought. The second Thrawn, Ahsoka the White and hobo Ezra get released as a magazine pack-in, this set will flop hard.

Purchased the set a few days ago because I’m a fan of the show and I adore Ahsoka. I’m really holding on to hope that Wicked Brick makes a display case with background art to help elevate this set as a display piece. I have many of their stands and cases and they have created some really incredible display cases for the sets. The backgrounds really add to the overall presentation.

I honestly believe it's a very good lego set. Now if you disagree fine, but I'm entitled to my own opinion. I think, yea the minifigs are a huge reason of why it's good but the build is sturdy and a great display piece. I personally don't mind stickers.

I found that and the sandpit set at my local target 4 days ago. I picked both up since they hadn’t released and I’d agree that it’s very underwhelming and only worth it for the minifigs

If it was closer to $60 I could justify it but the set is very basic, the mechanic part of the pit to make it move only moves the tentacles/arms and not the mouth, and the speeder is quite small. Plus the speeder’s plank for luke to walk doesn’t even have studs on it for a minifig to sit

For the price point, even on sale, it’s not worth it for me. I’m more into vehicle/starship style playsets. Having a grey slab with four black wall/pillars just says no. With a little more 💰, Lego should’ve made a midi-scale star destroyer Chimera.

That set is a downgraded version of the Obi Wan vs Darth Vader set. Only good thing about the Battle of Peridea set is the minifigures. It's a set to wait on buying until there is a good sale.

I only like Thrawn, Ahsoka and the nighttrooper in this set. The rest is really bad. Ezra's figure would have been perfect if the eyes had pupils but lego ruined it. I don't like the stickers, the weird shapes in the floor, the absence of Enoch an Sabine and the price. I'm gonna buy this set and make a moc for the baseplate. Overall I give the set a 7,5

I actually don't mind this set at all if it was around a similar price to the grogu BARC speeder escape but the price that they're asking for is too much. I do think it makes a nice minifigure display and I personally like it much better than the Kenobi vs Darth Vader set in terms of how it looks. Also I may be understanding wrong but I definitely don't think a star destroyer would come in at the same price point. I think this is a cool location to get in a set I just wish the price point was 30-40% lower I also really like the coloured eyes. Lego is very cartoony and this fits with their style while also adding more uniqueness. I can see how it's different and people may not like it but I really like it and think it's cute

All of these garbage LEGO sets have one thing in common, though: they're all based on the failed Disney-Star Wars shows. That should explain the ridiculous high prices. They have to make up in the price for all the sales they know won't make of these sets due to them being based on Disney-Star Wars, which barely anyone is watching at this point.

Nielsen - the industry standard that Disney itself uses - numbers are available, you can check them yourself to see. No one watched it. In fact, every single Disney-Star Wars show has had massive drops in viewership compared to the previous turd Disney released under the Disney-Star Wars brand. 2 - That's objectively false. You can compare piece counts and sets from third party IPs and clearly see that they overprice Star Wars far more than anything else. Including Disney-Marvel and other Disney properties. So it's got nothing to do with a "premium" on the brands being used. Specially not Disney-Star Wars, which is a dead brand.

This set is fine. Lego can't make 10/10 sets all the time. Yeah the minifigs carry the set and thats the point. The should carry this set. How else is Lego supposed to capture this scene. If it had a lot more detail then it would be too expensive and people would complain about it. If you don't like it then don't buy it. Who else has noticed that ever since this girl was kicked out of LAN she has been ragging on Lego?? Strange!
