Anotha day of suggestion a fantasy draft where you spin a wheel with all the letters on it, and you can only draft players with names that start with that letter, and each offseason you spin the wheel and get another letter that you base your signings off of for that offseason. (Probably remove each letter after spinning it)

For anyone that remotely cares: the pass defense is solid in the beginning because, in real life, when a team is beating the pulp out of the opposing team, they run the ball. So those seasons with no DBs and a meh offense, the opposing teams would go up so quick each game that they had little need to throw the ball, thus they ran instead of passed. This one Madden actually got right.

Good idea and a lot of work went into this I’m sure. You needed to do the math ahead of time to realize this wasn’t feasible without getting ~26 perfect spins and selecting superstar or X factor rookies, having nobody retire early, AND getting a god run of luck on the sim engine. 2 players per season doesn’t give you a chance. I think 5 players per season would be difficult to accomplish and you’d still need to heavily pick young players. Maybe 7 or 8 spins per year is the sweet spot (kind of like the nfl draft). There’s likely a reason why they have exactly that many rounds, to replenish aging talent.
