I have a tata tiago ev LR version more than 1 year now driving in hills only . As per my assessment, the tiago ev consumes about 2.4 -2.5 unit per hour adding 10 % battery per hour of charging , so it will take 24 -25 unit of electricity from 0% -100% . The useable battery of the tiago ev is 22 kw even though it is 24 kw... So if the tiago ev is 0% , then in reality it is 10% , so in reality you are charging from 10% to 90-95 %. Tata is doing this intentionally, in all its ev's to protect the battery. Anyway , driving in hilly mountainous road only ,my Tata tiago ev gives me 240-270 kms without AC.

Sir my Tiago EV is less than one month old. Driving in Shillong hilly areas I get less than 150 km. I don’t use sports mode or never push in D mode.

@@bsavrait I have travel between Shillong and Guwahati about 5 times . Up down my tiago ev LR version consumes between 70 - 73 % i.e 94 kms × 2 = 188 kms and Shillong- Nongstoin about 10 times + consuming 70 % up down = 184 kms and Shillong- Mawryngkneng also 20 times + consuming 27 % up down 36 kms ×2 = 72 kms . My average speed is between 40- 60 km/hr with 2-3 person on board without AC and regen mode 2 .

@@sony5244 Wow. Your car performs very well. Mine is defetive I think. It is lying currently with Frank Motors Laitkor. They found that the battery cooling water pump is defective which gave battery high temp error in fast charging. I don't know if that was connected to the low range I am getting. After the pump was replaced I didn't test drive yet. I told Frank Motors that they have to replace my battery as the range I am getting is not as compared one gets in Tiago EV LR. Any suggestions or points I should make while talking to the dealer. Thank you for your reply.

@@bsavrait you are right about your car being defective. I believe that their is defect in the battery pack , so the only way, is to pressure tata to change the battery. I don't believe that the pump has anything to do with the range because Shillong weather is temperate, so even if the pump doesn't work , it should not affect the range that much .
