now this is yorkminster around 12 noon lunch timeish with the carillon playing which gets played most monday lunch times somebody just comes to play it at any time yes no sivic time there was no carillon times to say what time the carillon will be played the minster police just said to me its every mondays around 12ish to 12 30 pm and again every day at 5pm for evensong at york minster the 35 bells were a lot tingy when i recorded on my tape recorder but its on my youtube chanel to watch to far away on the tape deck when i used to use the bin yard at bradford city hall the bells were a lot bigger and louder its because they are deeper toned bells so the radio cassette recorder can recorde so it means the radio cassette can easy pick up the tunes we get at bradford city hall the biggest bell is 4 tons in A FLAT MATTHEW WILLIAM THE lords mear bell now york minsters 35 carillon bells are smaller than bradford city halls 13 bells for the ottomatic carillon so the cassette recorder the sound of the 35 bells dont pick up as good but the 35 bells at yorkminster are nice to hear there was greensleves and another by stuart mills the heavyst bellringer now i got a train at 20to 10 to leeds for 3 pound56 returne to leeds then walked to the bus station to catch the red black clifford zap bus to york it left at 1030 am takes around 45 mins to york the fastest bus route to york got to york around 11 10 am so that was easy for me so i dont spend 17 pound every monday or a sundays when i come bellringing at all saints church in york or where ever i ring ok the blue coast line scarbrough bus to york takes even longer it goes to tadcaster then somewhere else then around the countrysides diffrent route stops every bus stop i will stick with the black red bus to york the easyst rout to 45 mins to less than 1 hour ok every sunday and monday now on a sunday it leaves leeds bus station around quarter to 3 gets to york around 3 30pm so i am in time to ring at north street church all saints only 5 mins walk from the train station now coming back to leeds the last bus is quarter to 6pm gets back to leeds around 7 pm weekley the busses start at 7 o clock in the morning to york more red black zap busses to york last bus every day monday to saturday from york back to leeds is 9pm gets back to leeds around 20 to 10pm evening i will tell you if you want to know the busses to york or you can look on my youtube channel its all here ok have a lovley day
