Way cool intro'. TY very much for sharing this. I am fiddling with the idea of making a fan-bladed cooling system for my Raspberry Pi by using Autodesk Fusion 360 and my 3D printer. TY! :)

i didnt whatch the vbideo yet, will come back and comment but i have these questions in mind 1) is noise turbulent flow 2) is the flow coming from the new toroidal and the silent loop blades more laminar than with the noisey blades 3) what is the energy cost of noise and turbulence in fans, as climate change becomes and issue for the hottest places the cost of cooling is going to become a sigunificant cost.

I shall be using some of these techniques to try some 3d print designs for better pc case fans I reckon. Thanks mate.

Excellent video. Pity fan manufacturers don't apply it. What fan would you suggest to buy to be efficient and less noisy, for a living room?

Good video ,i wanted to ask if we channelize the intake and outlet air flow through hexagonal mesh (to convert turbulent flow to laminar ) without changing the blade design, will there be any noise reduction?
