Puttin' on the Ritz was a great musical choice! What an amazing car. Can't wait to see it restored.

Really enjoyed this and as an owner of 2 pre war cars, have pushed both of them more than once, great

I fear there may be quite a lot more pushing over the next few years!!

Back in the 1980's i had a car with those same front brake set up, a 1923 Palladium( made in London UK) .This was the first light car to have four wheel brakes ,four speed gearbox etc .

Ooh fabulous sounds lovely. Rod brakes were an excellent idea at the time but having just driven 40 miles or so sitting happily behind servo assisted brakes with ABS, rod brakes are quite proposition!

Paul and Steve are fabulous. They got all four brakes free with a hammer, a bit of wood and a spanner. But also 2 lifetimes of experience which was the magic ingredient!

@@steve20118 The car comes from an era when vehicles were built by burly men with hammers and spanner’s. Wonderful, not laptop or software update required. Happy days.

That's going to be a big resto with a nice big bill at the end of it....If only it had been put in a better garage and looked after. Lots of bits missing so someone was busy taking it to bits piece by piece over the years.... Look forward to seeing the updates !

Welcome! There’s certainly lots to do, but I am glad to say I found most of the bits at home. I have held on to all random metal things and every now and then Paul and I have a game of could this be a bit of Lagonda? He has been very kind about some of my guesses but a few unlikely items did indeed turn out to be Lagonda bits! Next video should be up over the weekend

@@Reedys_Digest Good to hear there are boxes of bits all ready to be refitted onto the car. Don't throw anything out!! The engine looks like it will need a complete rebuild so that should keep you busy...😁 Have you signed up to the Lagonda club ? They are very helpful and have the spares and expertise you will need. Look forward to seeing the next video!!
