Hi. As a newcomer to the hobby myself I have learnt alot from the youtubers. Although there are many out there I love coming across new channels. Have just come across yours and have subscribed. I think your layout is fantastic and I would love to see how you make and build things. Everyone has a different technique and so it never gets boring seeing the range of ideas. So I would very much like to see your videos on the build. Look forward to seeing the extension build.

Hi. So pleased I came across your channel ! I'm about to commence building a layout of what I think will be a similar size. Would you let me know what size baseboard you've used and if you've used set curves, what radius they are? Thanks again and I'm looking forward to more of your videos as your new layout begins!

Hi Thanks for the comment :-) My layout is 8'x4' with a small 6"" extension along the back where the hill is. All my track is set curves (one of the things I have learnt for my next layout is that flexi track may be a better option for some places). The outer loop uses 3rd radius and the inner uses 2nd radius. I've enjoyed building the layout but another thing I will do differently is use express points or similar rather than the standard as some of my locos struggle with the tighter curve on the standard points.
