@JMUDoc Getting the memory to a specific frequency can be down via the BIOS in the Memory Configuration area, not that hard; 1333 DDR3 should be cheap to buy anyway since it's basic stuff - it mainly comes down to brand preference if you dont want generic (which will also determine price)

@JacobsPCStuff Yeh, I've used the G31's "Ctrl-F1" menu to set manual timings for my DDR2; I was only worried about OC'ing because I couldn't get my CPU multiplier past 9.5. Turns out the E0 stepping wouldn't let me, so it's not the boards fault! Looks like I'll make more selling my DDR2 than I paid for my DDR3 :).

i bought one of these about a month ago works very well so far i put a e5700 pentium dual core on it with 8 gigs of corsair xms3 ddr3 ram i put 64bit windows 7 home premium on it i got a corsair cx430v2 builder series psu very stable so far agreat deal for the money!

Got mine up and running, memory @1333 as far as I can tell (but wouldn't you know it, my memory's XMP wants 1.65V, and the board will do 1.60 or 1.70).

well ........i have 3 motherboard of that model and it's suck problem is in the design of that motherboard they put the chipset under the cpu so when the cpu get heat it's also heaten up the chipset and the sank over the chipset is a joke in all my three motherboards the chipset is boiling up from heat and iam using a master fan in them to cool up the cpu and the cpu it doesn't even generate all that heat and i'm not using an overclocked cpu even. it's just a stander core2duo cpu.

I prefer the asus because it has one more pci slot and the gigabyte has one but has 2 pci express but the second one gets blocked by my graphics card...so it's better if you got the asus and there's not much of a difference at all really besides what the MOBO manufactures have for features....just chose the one you like the best and get it....there pretty much the same when comparing tho...:/ both have direct x10 and lga775 sockets and ddr3 support. etc...

me sorprende que en eso tiempo esa placa la vediesen como una placa gamer dicen que es buena pero latemgo puesta y no me esta alegrando mucho por que trabaja un monton solo con el windows 7 profesional lo bueno es que se le pueden meter 8 gb de ram y una puta grafica que ni encuentro yo creo que me voy a tener que ir a la tienda y preguntar por ella aunque no es tan mala con una grafica
