And there were so many people! I barely found a seat for myself. 꽤 놀라웠어요. 목요일 밤 시간에 그렇게 사람이 많을 줄은 정말 몰랐어요. it was quite surprising. I really didn’t expect it to be so crowded on a Thursday night. I went to see a movie 2 days ago, quite late at night. Around 9 o’clock. 2일전에 영화를 보러 갔었어요. 밤 꽤 늦게 9시 쯤이에요. And there were so many people! 근데 사람이 엄청 많았어요! It was quite surprising! i really didn’t expect it to be so crowded on a Wednesday night. 꽤 놀라웠어요. 수요일 밤 시간에 그렇게 사람이 많을 줄은 정말 몰랐어요. I met up with some friend a few days ago. quite late at night. around 9 o’clock. 나는 며칠 전 친구를 만났어, 밤 꽤 늦게 9시 쯤에. We went out for some drinks. And there were so many people! 술 한 잔 했는데, 사람이 정말 많았어! I was expecting to see some more people but it was much more crowded than i thought. 사람이 많을거라고는 예상했는었는데 내 생각보다 훨씬 더 붐볐어. 우리는 어제 산책하려고 공원에 갔었어 밤 꽤 늦게 9시쯤에. we went to the park for a walk yesterday. quite late at night. I went to the library early in the afternoon a few days ago. 근데 사람이 정말 많았어. 나 앉을 자리 겨우 하나 찾았어. and there were so many people. I barely found a seat for myself. 꽤 놀라웠어. 금요일 오후 시간에 그렇게 사람이 많을 줄 몰랐어. It was quite surprising, i really didn’t expect it to be so crowded on a Friday afternoon. 강아지를 데리고 공원에 갔었어 토요일 저녁에. i took my dog out to the park on Saturday evening. 근데 사람들이 거의 없었어. And there weren’t many people. 꽤 놀라웠어. 나는 사람이 많을 거라 생각했거든. it was quite surprising. i was expecting to see some more people. 우리는 겨우 바다에 도착할 수 있었다. we could barely get to the sea. 그녀는 겨우 남자친구를 만날 수 있었다. She could barely meet her boyfriend. 그는 겨우 기차를 탔다. he barely got on the train.

I went to the basketball court that I usually visit yesterday. quite late at night, around 9 'o clock and there were so many people playing and fighting on the court. I barely found a court available for myself. It was quite amazing. I really didn't expect the courts to pack with so many people on a Saturday night.

I was passing by Gwanghwamun on my way to church, quite early at morning, around 8 O'clock yesterday, and there were so many people even on Sunday. I was wondering why, but I soon found out that it was because of the marathon. I really didn't expect it to be such a large marathon population. Anyway, the roads were blocked here and there, so we had to go other way. And we barely was able to get to church on time. 선생님, 알찬 강의 감사합니다! 한 가지 질문이 있는데요, 이런 문맥에서 마지막 문장을 I really didn't expect it~ 에서 I didn't really expect it~ 으로 약간 순서를 바꾸면 의미 차이가 큰가요? 저는 그냥 때에 따라 really를 앞에 두기도 하고 뒤에 두기도 하는데, 차이가 크다면 주의를 해야 될 것 같아서 여쭤봅니다! 혹시 아시는 분 계시면 도움 주시면 감사하겠습니다. 즐거운 하루 보내세요 :)
