It's more fun than critics gave it credit at the time, but best played on Wii-U! Weirdly the best port in a bunch of ways.

Imagine if they actually did just straight-up start remaking old Bond movies with the current actors. It's honestly kind of admirable that they've never resorted to that, with how remake-obsessed Hollywood is nowadays.

I guess they technically did that with Casino Royale, but I don't think anyone wants to count the previous version. And Connery himself did it with Never Say Never Again.

Okay, Daniel Craig bond reliving the memories of past James Bonds in their movies, sure, I get that. But why would Goldfinger-era Bond have a SMART PHONE? I feel like that would change things quite a bit.

I kinda like the idea of redoing old bond films in the modern style and therefore also the modern day. The james bond games seem to do this kind of weird time thing a lot.

I mean, in the premise that Craig-Bond is HALLUCINATING this as he's both drowning AND bleeding out, some dubious anachronisms should actually be expected - like 'Ma'am' giving him his assignment (also that rockin'...apartment? Hotel room? was on a beach with sudden, sheer volcanic cliffs - that's NOWHERE near Florida where the Goldfinger opening events happened)

Also, if his main skill is moving gold around, wouldn't Goldflinger be a better villain name for him? Well ... more accurate, at least.

2:50 apparently nobody else bought it and the developer fired most of the staff and pivoted to mobile games.

I'm surprised I've never heard of this game - or at least I might have known there was a bond game but not the concept
