Still one of the best villain intros of cinema. The tension and suspense plus the powerful sense of atmosphere just drips off of the screen. It's truly an impressive work of art both this scene and Silva's intro in Skyfall. it really reminds me the spectre meeting in thunderball. and they really successfully modernized that scene. there is too many things that i love; 1) everyone having a conversation about drug business, human trafficing and assasinations with absolute chillness it was nothing but a daily route to them. 2) as soon as blofeld enters, the whole room shows him a respect that mixed with fear. 3) they mention their fallen assasin and show graditude for his service. 4) when the new assasin accept the job and give a speech about how he is loyal and no toleration for amateurism, blofeld understood that he is all barfing no biting, put him in a challenge to death and gave the job the guy who doesnt talk but show actions. which was a good demonstration about blofeld's character. for him your words, your life or your loyalty doesnt matter. what matter is your actions and your copetence 5) i knew we'll see blofeld's face since he is the villain, but im so glad we didnt see it from the very beginning. it was a good fan service to introduce him as a shadowy figure without showing his face, like his early appearances in the previous series

he was good when supported by what was happening around him, not as good when it was just him and james (chair scene). his scene in no time to die is just him and james though, and its great--waltz really pulls it off.
