They the pbs pads? Some like them but I was lapping with someone in a fiesta this Yr and we had a good battle not he could only cope for 4 or 5 Laps max and he was cooking them so that put me off them. I had to carry on my own 😂

Just bought some16 inch team dynamics with ad08rs on them. How do they perform? Do you have the 15 inch purely for tyre prices? can’t wait to get this big brake kit next. Do you think you’d be able to get the 330 bbk under the 16’s? great vid!
@Sparkplugsteve4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't like to guess whether it would fit to be honest.
@bryandebruyn44104 жыл бұрын
Nope Sam. 330 is 17inch minimum. Maybe 320 you could get under 16inch. I have a Hispec 280 4pot set on an estate which can do 15 minimum for trackdays and on my fiesta ST I have an 304mm Ksport 6pot set with 16inch min. Like the better feel with the 4/6 pot brakes and no fading no more on hard driving (and repeatedly hard braking)
@samcook70464 жыл бұрын
@@bryandebruyn4410 ahhh thanks for the info. I’m sure 300mm is plenty enough and I’ll go with them.

I own a mk7 ecoboost red edition and I’m looking at getting these brakes before my remap but I was wondering what size I need to go for as I’ve got 17 inch alloys and my car is slammed so I can’t get the spacers

Hi Steve. I've been following your channel for a fair bit of time now. But i think i never saw you change the turbo actuator. I would want to change mine but would like to see someone else do it first 😅 It should give you more punch. When your stage 2 map reaches 1,4 ~ 1,5 bar the standard actuator starts to struggle...
@Sparkplugsteve4 жыл бұрын
No it's still standard. Thanks for watching the videos

Will the 330mm fit with 16s and also can you get away with 15mm spacers instead of 20?
@Sparkplugsteve4 жыл бұрын
You need 17s for the 330mm. On 16s and 17s the spacer will be dependant on the style of wheel.

Watch those tyre pressure sensors think how heavy they get on the end of the valve at high speed I've heard stories of people having a valve rip out the wheel because of them. If you're using them on track.
@Sparkplugsteve4 жыл бұрын
Yes it has been a concern but I use smaller valve stems now so the sensor rests on the rim and doesn't flex like it would on normal valves.
