Unless you live under a rock, you probably know who Ballerina Farms is. The idyllic family with 8 free range kiddos living on their family farm in Utah. Hannah, the wife, mom and face of the brand has taken the world by storm lately, but not all in a positive light.
In this episode I am addressing the controversy that is Ballerina Farms and my thoughts on it.

You are 100% correct! I am no Hannah, but losing my weight quickly did not make me popular at my church with the women my age. The Bible says, “behind jealousy and envy every other evil debacle follows….no joke”! I had my kids in the 80’s and the girls were exactly the same. I just started watching you this moment, and Hannah yesterday, you are beautiful and WISE! Thank you for your honesty. I hope your birth is a wonderful experience…I am going to share your video with my “older” friends😊

Hannah has posted videos straight up stating that she does not make every meal from scratch and her children are not perfectly behaved and that she makes the videos as something to showcase a specific element of her life-but it is not the ONLY element of her life. I feel she is extremely authentic and HUMBLE and loves her family and truly ENJOYS being a woman and a wife and a mom and a ballerina and a pageant queen and a cow milker (lol) and a business owner and a farmer all rolled up into one beautiful and exceptional human!! Side note: after EIGHT BABIES (plus how you mentioned she is an athlete!!) your body doesn’t react to child birth as the trauma that maybe a body who has only had one child and was never a professional dancer (myself in this category lol!) would react to it as! I had a very traumatic post partum experience and spent a month in the hospital after my son’s birth, but there is NOTHING about Hannah’s experience that upsets me and I find it SO BIZARRE that it has caused the uproar that it has! Also, I really agree with your thoughts about the “elite” of humanity existing and literally just being better than me at certain things! This whole “everyone must be represented in everything all the time or it’s evil/racist/sexist/ableist etc” attitude is causing more harm than good in a lot of ways. The idea behind it is a good thing and I’m not saying people should be excluded but there needs to be a bar that is set and if you don’t meet that bar then go find your area to shine but please dont sit there feeling bad ab yourself or “left out” bc you aren’t on the same level as a model or a pro athlete or a CEO or whatever.

My thoughts exactly. I work in IT but I am inspired by her and always dream to have my own farm, create homestead but sourdough is already in place at my house haha! Never, NEVER understood the "hate" on her, jealousy is a disease... Also, nice to find your channel :)

Why should Hannah have to decrease her abilities and goals just because other women are jealous

I love this family. They are so simple and real not fake not out to impress anybody just showing what goes on in their life especially with cooking. Oh my God I wish I could cook like Hanna. I would like to be at her place at least for a week to indulge in all the homemade stuff that she has and it’s all pure and clean and, it would be a dream on top of that. She’s a beauty queen! people, unfortunately, are very jealous of anyone that is successful or beautiful. I’m sick of it. I’m sick of people tearing other channels down because I’ve gotten nothing else better to do because they are not doing what these people are doing nor willing to sacrifice in order to get where these people got, I’m tired of it.

Beautiful Hannah is free to live her life as she desires because haters will always hate and because they are consumed with hate they need someone or someone to channel that hatred! Beautiful Hannah has an ectomorph body type. The ectomorph body type is characterized by a lean and slender physique, with a tendency to have a hard time gaining weight which is why these ladies can have a baby and their bodies will snap back into shape. Ladies with an ectomorph body type typically have a fast metabolism, which can make it challenging to put on weight, especially muscle mass. They often have a smaller bone structure, long limbs, and a smaller muscle mass.

Let's mention that all their cattle/hogs are grain fed with NOT non-GMO/organic feed. It's a real bummer, as I'm someone who seeks mostly organic/definitely non-gmo grass fed/finished beef for the most part. As far as Hannah, I think she is a total badass super human!

Wow I love your perspective on this. It’s so true that women are so burnt out of aspiring to be girl bosses. I was raised in a dual income household where both of my parents had full time corporate jobs from the time I was in 2nd grade through high school. My mother was an incredibly successful athlete, accountant, and she always made time to spend quality time with my brother and I. I don’t think she missed a soccer game or swim meet more than 5 times. I always wanted to be like her and have a great career and then start a family, but I realized that unless I prioritized the family, I couldn’t have it all. A career can be built over time but as a 24 year old woman, the opportunity to prioritize finding a partner and raising children is not as limitless as the media has portrayed it. Hannah’s content really flipped that switch for me a couple years ago, and since then I have really evaluated so many aspects of my life to not feel shame for craving a more domestic role. She’s really an embodiment of pure femininity and strength that women possess, a strength that is actually much more relatable to most women compared to the manufactured girl bosses in movies and TV shows.

I am amazed at the hate. I guess it evaded me that people would farm out of necessity and poverty - isn't that what everybody wants??? You can do what Hannah is doing with or without her resume.

The Ballerina Farm family come across as really nice people. They also employ a lot of local people in their community both old and young . Was one lady 84 years old ? Also kids from school and inbetween. They are very kind to their emplyees and do treat them as family . In todays world where people are struggling and lonliness is one of the worst things for single people and the elderly , it looks like they also provide a really nice warm welcoming sense of communty . Supporting people to thrive. People will always complain , I guess if they were driving farraris and got their own helicopter they would winge about them bring to flashy ss well . One thing about todays world unfortunately there is always someone wanting to winge , and what are these wingers contributing to their own community apart from being annoying. I do not live in the USA and have not tried their products . But they look great , from the foods , to utensils plus teaching paople to make their own healthy bread / foods etc. Its all heart warming to see . They do their best to share what they are blessed with and do work hard , even if they do have help . I am sure its not easy when perhaps one is not fortunate enouhgh to have enough or the same resources , I can imagine it to be a very hard stressful lifedtyle for many, and congratulations for their good efforts and very hard work and probably unimaginable struggles .. But I think this young family have chosen a great lifestyle for their children and providing a lovely community and sharing of knowledge and skills . Good luck to them its noce to see some people doing well and enjoying their family and community, also nice to watch since today there seems to be so much hatred snd horrible things in the world its actually really pleasant just to see a nice family doing some good and being happy and sharing that kindnesd and happiness the best they can.

I know people that come from a family with a lot of money and ironically they are the ones that don’t help the kids at all to chase their dreams no matter how much trouble the kids are in, they never give a hand to help so if the guy comes from a rich family, it doesn’t necessarily mean he has all those riches…

I would not call everyone who is critical with Influencers content "jealous", this is such a shallow argument. Ballerina Farm is a brand. It is not Hannah. And if you think, that she is doing this unfiltered and pure content herself, and is soley responsable for the the brand creation, you are very naive. What you call "jealousy" is other people being knowledgeable, and not buying into the tricks of advertisers and corporate identity professionals who have worked behind the scenes creating the brand. BF is a company who want´s to sell you something, like a bundle of Flowers for 100$ from Ecuador, while creating that vision that Hannah is growing them herself and picking them up for you in the morning. And yes, people are foolish enough to by a bar of dish soap for 20 $ from her and other stuff, because the brand has created the desire to have a piece of her life. That´s how advertising works. Advertising is creating this "elite" picture you mentioned that creates a desire within you. Other wise you would not spend your money on the product. But Hannah herself is not all that as I mentioned.

Too me it looks like BF is a mere cosplay of the « US rural life ». Isn’t she more of a content creator / working from home mom rather than a tradwife / stay at home mom ?
