hello everybody born in 2023. if you're reading this after 20 years have passed you should know that youtube was a different platform then the one you know now which i know hasn't gotten any better but besides that let me tell you about the golden days of youtube. there wasn't a business side to it, shorts didn't exist and best of all everyone wanted to make a viral video for the sake of making others laugh not for any money. the people who did make money were "youtube celebrities" and the circle was really small and tight knit unlike nowadays where anybody can make money off of youtube. the entertainment was innocent mostly consisting of home videos, cats, people's creations and a whole lot of youtube poops. i hope you have time machines by the time 20 years have passed so you can see what i grew up with. ✌️

It’s sad that we all miss those simpler times, but at the same time, i like to think about it this way, we got a childhood worth remembering. We weren’t worried about politics, a pandemic, or half of the dumb things we worry about today. We hopped on this site not knowing that this song that would irritate us in every tutorial would one day bring a tear to our eyes, and make us wonder, where did the time go. We were too busy just living life as it was, and enjoying the stress free time it was. Today’s kids just barely missed what it was like for us, sitting at school, watching the clock tick by, just dying to get home and boot up the computer, watch some KZbin and play some DS. Yes technology is rapidly advancing, and while we’re moving along with it, and younger and younger kids are as well, a part of us doesn’t want to let go of our youth, the time when we weren’t worried about having to pay a bill, or what you were gonna do in life, because while more good times might happen, none will ever hold that level of bliss and innocence. Yet I’m glad I have a time, an era, a true childhood that I can look back and smile on and say, “Man, I wish I could see those times again...”. With that being said, cue the music, and let that trip through memory lane bring that one tear to your eye.
