This was kind of my breaking point with GH. It broke my heart when they killed him. I know it's a soap opera and they're supposed to be dramatic but I cried anyway. Jason looked so in love with his son when he spent that little time with him. It just wasn't fair that they took that cutie away.

For all those people who said that Jason can’t be a good Dad if he is with Sonny they should see this scene. And all the ones with him and baby Michael. Or when he fight like hell to get Danny back to Sam. Kids play a big part in who Jason is he has more patient with them than any adults on the show.

Nina Adderly It's not that I think Jason cannot be a good Dad, I think he can be a fantastic one. It's just his choice of career, a hitman for Sonny. He does the big stuff, but scenes like this just everyday things he needs to do with his sons. He really needs to think about what type of father he wants to be. His sons will model him.

Z K Everything in Jason’s life is not always about the mob. Sam knew that before she had Danny and Liz knew it before she had Jake. Being a parent doesn’t mean you stop living your life it means you have to adjust it to fit the baby. Jason did that with Michael when Carly left him with Jason. He tried to do it with baby Hope & baby Lily.

Gwen Marie Michael is not Jason son he is Aj and Sonny’s son. Michael shooting had nothing to do with Jason. Just like Jakes hit and run had nothing to do with him. Hell the revenge on Jakes fake death has nothing to do with Jason or the mob. When Jason was raising Michael nothing ever happened to him and on his watch. When Michael did was kidnap Carly was taken care of him by herself. Jason loves his kids and he loves Carly and Sonny’s kids. Hell! Jason also loves Sam’s daughter too.

When Elizabeth got pregnant and finally told Jason he wanted to be with his child. But even he said it would have to be up to Elizabeth to Make that decision. Because he said he knew the danger and he could not deal if anything happen to her or the children. Now Sam has two children. One by Jason One By Drew. Lets see what happens Now!! Its a big difference when you have Children. Yes Sam Feels its ok for Danny And Her To Live With Jason. But when Drew Gets his memory back do you honestly think that he is gonna want his daughter around that. The Answer is No. He is not!!! So it was Jason And Yes he was torn between Wanting his Elizabeth his son And Cam with him. And living under constant Security. The maternal instinct women have is an amazing thing to me. I know that look of stoic internal hyperventilating when you look at your child’s face and simultaneously think of all the things you want to protect that innocent person from as their Dad. But then also know its not realistically possible to protect them from everything. I could be wrong but when their little I think mothers are just as terrified but able to compartmentalize and trust they’ll be ok better than Dads.

Maybe Kelly Monaco was needed to keep the child actor calm and entertained? Maybe they had to improvise the scenes? Maybe it was supposed to be just Steve Burton alone in the scene and it had to be rewritten in order to work better? So many possibilities? With that said I agree it should have been just Jason and not Sam never Sam especially after her decision to keep quiet about his kidnapping!

Did you know when the building blew up, Sam had Jake wrapped in her arms and jumped out of the window right before the building blew up. Jason thought he had lost Jake in the explosion. As he stood watching the building in the front thinking he was the cause his son was now dead, Sam came from the back with Jake wrapped in a blanket. Jason told Elizabeth it was because of Sam that Jake's alive. Did you not see that episode?

And who saved sam's life that day-Liz..When she shot the man to protect sam. sam cared nothing for Jake - that was just away to get into Jason's pants again. sam hated Jake from the beginning and she still does. If you love someone you don't take part in their kidnapping. You don't hellp the kidnapper. You don't lie to the parents frantically looking for their child. You don't lie to the police when asked if you know anything about it..and you sure don't send gunmen to threaten infants. IF you call that love- then I would hate to see her hating him then.Also terrifying him to running out of the house and getting hit by a car and burning his home down. Pure evil hatred is all she is.
