Luke tries everything he can to provoke Jason, he even punches him. Carly tries to intervene but Luke won't stop. Jason finally tells him he won't give him what he wants & leaves with Carly

This was such a great scene! The performances of these three actors was fantastic! I wish to Hell GH writers would write material NOW that would let the actors shine like they did back then. And for all the people saying that Luke was speaking the TRUTH here...pay attention. This wasn’t about Luke speaking the truth. This was about Luke saying every awful thing he could think of so Jason would SNAP and kill him. Period! Luke didn’t mean HALF of what he was saying to Jason. He was just in so much pain over killing Jake ...he wanted to die. And Jason didn’t fall for it. He knew it would be far, far worse punishment for Luke to have to live with what he did (day after day) for the rest of his life. Jason didn’t need Luke to tell him he made a terrible mistake by giving Jake up. He already knew. And that was what Jason was going to have to live with (day after day) for the rest of HIS life. This scene was brilliant!

Luke's character was ruined in the last several years of the show he was on. All of a sudden he said Tracy of all people was the love of his life when for more than 2 decades it was Laura? No chemistry between he and Tracy more like a comedy routine, He was fun and funny, an action man, but a deeply loving and caring man in the first few decades then his character was destroyed it was very sad.

He had no problem with the writers having his character marry the rape victim lol. I love Geary and he’s a great actor. But he didn’t leave the show for some noble reason

Every scene where Jason caught a glimpse of Jake, I could see the longing in his face. He knew what Michael went through being Sonny’s son with guards and threats. Then Liz convinced him she and Lucky could give the boy a safer life. Who was truely selfish. He only did what Liz begged him to do, just as he did for another baby when Carly begged him to help her keep her son from being taken away by the Quartermaines.

Umm Liz took that back immediately. That only and lasted a few weeks. She told Jason he should be in his child’s life they were going to get married and all and then JASON made the final decision to stay out of jakes life.

Ambereigh , I think Jason knew Elizabeth wouldn’t last long in his world, and she’d split with him and he’d loose another child, just as he lost Michael. At least this way, I’m sure Jason believed, Jake wouldn’t have to have guards around him the rest of his life!

Luke made a lot of good points though. It's very easy to grieve a child u never raised. The hard part is the everyday grind of raising that child as lucky did. It's kinda sad that lucky is not Jake's dad anymore when he stepped up big time raised a child that liz & Jason lied to him about for well over a year. Lucky in this moment was Jake's real father. Please if aj were around & cried about michael carly sonny jason would be telling him to get lost even though he was blackmailed into giving his son away. If he went to prison he would not have raised him I find it laughable sonny has a million crimes but aj had one & sonny used it. I'm just sad that Michael didnt hate carson longer than he did when sonny murdered him for a crime he did not commit than banged ava on his grave. Sonny really is horrid how people love him is beyond me. Check out the video of him almost hitting karen and telling her she asked to be molested by her step dad bc she would not strip anymore in his club. It will make ur stomach turn. Did sonny even raise his kids ? Most of their lives or whole childhood they lived with their mothers. Jake is only Jason's son bc drew took over from lucky & when Jason came back it was now out there thanks to drew that Jason was his dad. He barely sees Jake bc they never bonded. While danny was still little when jason came back. Now he is raising his niece scout who I guarentee the show will kill off soon to get rid if the drew years & create drama for jasam bc they really need a story to kick start them.

I did agree with Luke a little in this scene! They never really showed how hard jakes death hit lucky except for the night he died! It became more about Jason's grief but lucky raised Jake as his son and Liz was right - she and lucky were the ones with the holes left in their lives.

I can’t believe I never saw them too interacting like this! Great scene! Then again, I wasn’t watching it then and was mad when I learned they killed his son (I know that he’s actually alive now). Poor Jason. They just never want my boy to be happy. I wanted him and Liz to stay together, tho I admit, she couldn’t handle his lifestyle like Sam could. Robin would’ve handled it better. Goofy writers!

Ok. I don't know much about why Jason gave Jake up cause Jake was already born when I started watching general hospital. But the way I see it he gave Jake to lucky to raise so he can have a better life. Jason never thought about being a father until Danny. The last few weeks while Jake was "alive" before he was "presume dead" we saw Jason starting to connect with Jake. I'm glad Jason is on better terms with his sons.

I Love Jason but hes wrong he couldn't be with Jake because of the danger. but it doesn't stop him from looking after other peoples kids. the danger is their that's the reason he wasn't with Jake. so he shouldn't have been with any kids its hippicrital of him to do that. its like making UN exception an as a parent you shouldn't do that. Jason Loves Jake but he did betray an use a excuse on why he couldn't be their for him. yes Elizabeth did ask Jason if her an Lucky could raise Jake. that was a mistake Elizabeth tried to fix it an give Jason his son. they both made choices Liz tried though Jason will have to live with his choice. im just disappointed that Jason did take as much time as he should have. to think about what he did Jason said he failed Jake. but not as much as Luke is failing his children not true Jason failed big time. Luke's children are alive yes Jake wasn't really ded we find out five years latter. but in this moment Jake was gone an Jason wasn't going to get a second chance. I so hope the writers now that Jake is alive an Jason is back the writers will stop the separation of father an son. an give them some much needed time together 😠😠😠.

I know some people are like luke had some good points but not really jason gave up jake because he wanted him to have a normal life and also he tried to have a relationship with him while he was growing up but the danger in his life kept getting in the way and also this goes to back to Elizabeth and her lies what Liz should have done was tell lucky the truth from the beginning and tell Jason he was the father early on I know her reason was “i’m afraid lucky is gonna go back on drugs” but then again lucky was not her responsibility if he went back he went back and she should have focused on Cameron and unborn jake at the time and plus jake would not have had to be kidnapped by Helena to stick it to Luke if they would have just told the truth and Luke taking about it’s easy to grieve for a child that you didn’t raise I disagree as a matter of fact it makes it worse because Jason was always gonna wonder what if I did this what if I did that and he also knew he was never going to get to know jake when he got older I mean now I guess it doesn’t matter but during that time it mattered a lot jason should have told Liz I want to raise my child and you need to tell lucky the truth and her and Jason could pick up the pieces
