Hello Mark, it was a joy to sing with you this Wednesday evening! 😊 I remember The HAWAIIANS.( Mark & Diane Yasuhara, Husband & Wife duo). I saw them in concert at my church back in the mid to late 80's when I was between 9-11 years of age. They sang beautifully. I remember it like yesterday. May you have a blessed night.

Sorry, I'm from a tiny town near Twin Falls, Idaho. Anyone reading this, & those who would, please pray for me as I have to start visiting the Wound Clinic at the hospital in Twin. Medicaid shirked their duties in helping me with personal hygiene while my hand was in a cast, & now getting stronger while healing. I'm supposed to be wearing support hose to keep my legs healthy after having vein surgeries for both. And, because I didn't get any help putting my hose on, my legs are having problems again. Hopefully these next visits won't take too long. This might finish off 2 years of Dr appts for my legs!

I like the original "Jesus Loves Me." Interesting facts: Karl Barth is said to have summarized his theology with the line, "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so". This line is said to come from a song Barth learned as a child. Barth was a 20th century Swiss-German theologian who was influential in Protestant thought. He emphasized the "wholly otherness of God" and the centrality of the doctrine of the Trinity. The hymn "Jesus Loves Me" was originally written as a poem in the novel Say and Seal to comfort a dying child. It first appeared in Golden Shower of S[unday] S[chool] Melodies in 1862.
