Thank you for this enlightening session. I am a geriatrician from the Dominican Republic and we do not have a hospice jet and only over the last 3 years, palliative care has started to be provided by a private group. It is costly and so far the services are not covered by any insurance which means that it is reserved for people that can afford it.
