Flash flooding shortly after rush hour causes areas of East Loop 820 around meadowbrook to get shut down as crews work to rescue flooded cars and clear drains along the highway. Un eastern Fort Worth along trinity, flood waters get so high that people trying to avoid floating construction barriers and equipment end up getting stuck on the center median. A 4th vehicle drive around a Fort Worth officer that was blocking the road and gets stuck in flood water. In northern sections of Fort Worth, areas around intersections get treacherous.
