I will never forget my experience with hb1 and how much it blew me away. There was one moment when I was walking on a balance beam, pretty confidently, when a voice in Senua's head told me I wasn't going to make it. It completely threw me off balance; I've never forgotton how powerful that was, as a reminder that your negative thoughts can really affect you. Hb1 was a beautiful, fun, and emotional experience and I absolutely cannot wait for hb2. Thank you Ninja for putting so much thought into your art.

@@jerico9263 Their "binaural audio" wasn't very "binaural" to me, and I have very good headphones. It just sounded like regular panning and the whole promo-videos about how they recorded things were unwarranted, making people think it was better than it is. - Wasn't a whole lot that impressed me about the sounds in the first game. I don't mean bad, but nothing that special either. - I mean, what, is that Druth-guy yapping in your ear like he's on a call on a one-sided Bluetooth-headset supposed to be "immersive" or something?... It got really tiresome very quickly. It made me reluctant to activate those stones. "DEM NORSEMEN THO!" - And the other voices in her head were alright, but the effect is not binaural.

@@michaelmonstar4276 Really? never played it yet. Why can't they use true binaural audio? Games did it back in the 90s like Half Life and Thief the Dark Project even with crudder implementations it was something new and exciting, used to good effect too.

Yeah, Ninja Theory are gonna be the pioneers of next-gen graphics. Hellblade 2 and Project: Mara are gonna be some of the first video games with a truly next generation leap from Xbox One to Xbox Series.

Such a shame. It's great to see that they're doing better and back on track though! I'll have to watch again when I get home cause I missed that part. I heard them say they were unable to get to Iceland because the government grounded flights, I didn't realize team members got sick :(

Hellblade I was one of the most unique experiences I've ever had in any sort of fiction, and by the looks of it, the sequel might be just as impactful, if not more. Truly surreal, I'm wishing Ninja Theory the best.

It took me too long to realize when that gamebuilt footage was being shown, it looked so real! I thought I couldn't get more excited about this game but you guys have proved me wrong. I was in Iceland back in August 2022 and can't wait to see some of these locations I saw in real life. In their map, I saw a dot on the blue Lagoon area south of Reykjavik. That place is next level. Guess they gonna put that in the game as well, even though it's not really 10th century.

When I say Hellblade is in my top 5 favourite games ever and Senua is my favourite female protagonist ever I mean it. Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is absolutely incredible, I've played it atleast once a year since it's release (also a big fan of Heavenly Sword and Enslaved) Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is the reason I bought an X-Box, please take your time with this sequel, I have full faith in the team at Ninja Theory. Please let there be a VR option in this one too. Loved it in the first one. Looking forward to upgrading my PC just for this game and giving up on food and housing to make that possible. In VR you do not need a roof over your head. Just a picnic bench and a generator.
