He's a scholar-general, widely read and accomplished. Compare him with today's wannabe generals like bajwa, asim muneer, faiz hameed etc and the difference couldnt be starker !! Its just too bad he never became Chief. I wish in the next IK government he gets to be Foreign minister at least. I could listen to him for hours and still not get bored. He won the sword of honour in '77 I think.

As an Indian, General Tariq Khan has changed my my view of Pak army. [Very sensible and decent]. Just one thing Sir-- In India, we have always thought of Gilgit Baltistan and Muzafarabad as POK[Pakistan occupied Kashmir].... so its not happening suddenly. I enjoyed this interview...
