It's called sampling and taking inspiration. And the songs themselves aren't that similar. Sure you can tell this is inspired by Space Lord but it still manages to be its own thing and not a complete Rip-Off. I can now see why this song isn't on Spotify anymore though, Blues Saraceno probably didn't clear the sample.

Also, what i'm about to say is strictly my opinion but having heard both songs, i legitemately think this song is the better one out of the two. Space Lord sounds like a cool Mainstream Rock song, and that's it. For me, The Bible or The Gun grabs my attention more because of its subject matter, the catchy verses and chorus, as well as all the constant changes to the song's sound and structure, which is typical of a Dark Country song.

The fact that two distinct songs have a weaker influence connection between the original and the successor doesn't impact how i feel about this track and its proximity towards Space Lord at all. Besides, Blues Saraceno didn't "steal" the song lol. I've said it beforehand and i'll repeat myself. The term is called Sampling with Musical Inspiration as a complement. This song and Space Lord are both their own thing. Just because he used the same Guitar Whiff on a portion of the track and a chorus that is slighly similar melodically doesn't mean that the entire thing is a Rip-Off.
