What I hear most often is that seller receives the cheque but before banking in, changed their minds because another buyer offer a higher price. What’s the recourse for the first buyer or is there any recourse in the first place?

Hi CK, thanks for the question. From our understanding, the cheque is to be honoured upon presentment to the sellers. In the above scenario, yes, you could seek legal recourse if it happens. Cheers :)
