In one line, I can say that lots of ego clashes between parents, father don't even care for mother,it's just like both of them physically present but none of them fulfil there responsibility towards each other,specially father doesn't even fulfill his responsibility towards my mother, there is no communication between them, no emotional connection..well my mother has sun afflicted in 8th house along with combusted 7th lord mercury and rahu in cancer sign and venus in 9th house in leo sign...so all was destined to happen..in a way 7th lord mercury combust and afflicted in 8th house..Therefore only one combination cannot decide your future..many other such combinations are there to work together and then produce the results.

Venus exalted in Pisces..... I think means more that Venus feels highest of emotions and happiness (which it actually wants) like more of escatasy in sign of Pisces only (true love which he can actually get from God only and of which Venus is confused about in other signs). Remember he is also a Guru like Jupiter (guru of asurua where as Guru is guru of suras) that's why he is exalted in sign of Jupiter (it's like Guru himself getting connected to God via true love instead of dealing with worldy affairs of other signs where he can become a bit selfish)......
